Every movie is a popcorn movie, blockbuster or not... and I don't even eat popcorn, lol. Never understood that reference. Like, somehow the popcorn makes the movie better.
I actually think it's awesome. Batman, like the rest of us, is human. Even the perfect warrior gets old and dies.
This is why I wish someone would make a movie, or two, about Batman in his later years fighting crime and then having to pass the torch unto a new Batman with his own style. Think of it like Batman Beyond, without the bull____ Iron Man suit, lol.
I haven't read one single movie review in my entire life, unless you count the praises posted on the front, and back, of dvd/blu ray releases.
And while I do read many video game reviews, I use them as a general census as a kind of turning point of whether or not I should hop off the fence and buy it anyway. I enjoy games that most reviewers don't, so it has to be pretty damn bad for me to actually even take into full account the opinions of those people. Otherwise, meh.
That was because you were thirteen and Nicole Kidman was hot as hell, lol. That's the saving grace for that movie, in my opinion. That and Robin wasn't a total disappointment, like the rest of the movie.
I didnt like Chris o Donnel. its not him, but its the way they wrote robin; It felt like O Donnel shouldve been Nightwing and they skipped everything before 20 years old. Thats what made Bruce take ____. The fact he saw a child like himself see his parents murdered.
And No, bruce never took ____ in the anatomical way!

The reference is used by critics to explain a "check your brain at the door and enjoy" type of movie. Hence why I found it odd that it was used to describe TDKR when all the little Nolancompoops have been stating that these films are more "cerebral."

BTW, I don't think Todd McCarthy is doing TDKR any favors by saying AVENGERS is "childish" in comparison. That's the kind of stuff that breeds backlash.

That part's warranted though. As I said earlier, the only reason TDK even saw one is because Ledger got snubbed for Feathers and Brokeback, both of which were far better performances. Found this hilarious:
Anyone know how sites like rottentomatoes work? Do the reviewers send in a review and RT uploads it or do the reviewers upload directly? The numbers never seem to match up. For example it says there are 19 reviews but only 15 fresh and 1 rotten?
The reviewer (or one of their minions) actually submits the review.
