Of course Batman can't be in EVERY scene of the movie. Do you know how long it would take for him to get in and out of his suit to take a crap??

Yknow, i didnt wanna think about that. now i have i can only think he has low fibre diet and evacuates before gettin in the suit!

Otherwise, i hope we get the same screen time of bats as TDK. I didnt mind bruce wayne in batman mode either

At least Prometheus tried to be different. At least it did more then add a tiny, uesless detail that never once affected the overall film, sans for comic nerds. :lol

Prometheus is the most boring movie I've seen this year besides Ghost Rider: Spirit of Booty Juice.

All the Engineers, Charlize Theron push-ups, C-Section births and "Mouth Rapers" in the world couldn't save it from making me wish I had a remote to change the movie in the theatre.

:nana:

Seems that one of the main criticisms is that the music is too loud over the dialog. Same thing with TDK. When watching it on Blu I have to turn it up during the talking and then down again when the action kicks in. That and its still hard to make out what Bane is saying. If that's all they can moan about then I've a good feeling about this movie.

TDK has too many new characters; Dent, Joker, Maroni, Checken, Gambol, Mike Engle, Coleman Reese, Rameirez, Wurz and Stephens. All of those played key, noticeable parts in the film.

Depends. The gangsters all served the same purpose but no backstories or even really any hard time was spent on them. They were key parts but interchangeable save Dent and The Joker. If Nolan introduces a lot of a characters that he spends time in the film developing then it is an overload and everything I've read even the fan raves have mentioned that it's a bit overstocked. TDK didn't really spend much time on any of the other characters, even Dent and The Joker weren't given hard backstories it seems like that might not be the same with some of the newbies here.

Nice to see the ladies returning but they need to be bigger. She had a great set at their peak.

Les Miserables right?
yeah I saw pics of her, I'm just saying she looks really weird

People have done worse for an Oscar, from what I've read this (Les Mes) might get her one.

Well Ebert like it, and said it was good, but could have been better.

That seems to be the thing I've been reading over and over.

This is such an awesome film...for me, it topped TDK :rock

First time I've read that actually.

I guess the "reboot" that's supposedly happening in 2014 is going to stamp out any hope of that :(

I believe it's been moved unofficially to 2015 hasn't it with all the Comic-Con talk?

I'm excited to see but concerned after reading Eberts review that said
that there is very little Batman in the movie
. I'm sure I will love it. Just something I have to prepare for.

Ah so Nolan made a Hulk film. :lol

In reality this won't compare to any Superhero film before it. All the other films have been a hodge podge of various crap sewn together. Nolan obviously has a story to tell that he is wrapping here with seeds already sewn in Batman Begins. That kind of tie from the beginning through the last isn't something that is typical to this genre and I don't remember a film franchise that even attempted that really. I don't expect it to be typical superhero fare by any means and more expect it to be one of those films that makes want to go back and want the first two and try to find the connections.

If I made a Batman film I'd have a psychotic Bruce Wayne who rarely leaves his suit. Then nobody would complain about Batman's screen time. It would get to a point where Alfred questions his surrogate son's sanity because of the stench/odor that he emits in suit and his refusal to leave his surveillance/computer while in Bat garb when not on nightly patrol. Basically bat-____ crazy.

He'd wear the suit like it was his second skin and obsess over the quality of his equipment for his war on crime. Only time he'd be out of it would be during the day or in any situation that calls for him to be Bruce Wayne. It'd be so sick that he'd make a rule that when he's in the Batcave Alfred must call him Batman and Batman only.

He'd be cynical, cunning and self loathing. Basically an immature child that never grew up with an obsession with vengeance, justice seeking, and adventure. He's just on the verge of being a crazed lunatic like his enemies and may suffer from multiple personality issues. The thing that would pull him back are his parents, their ideals, Alfred and the well being of allies.

His charisma would come from his drive and dedication to rid Gotham of crime. Something that could never happen and would be his plight or curse. He'd have to have pathos or else audiences would never feel for a man that sits sulking in a suit all day waiting to eradicate all forms of crime. To identify with him you'd have to inject a theme of loss of childhood and nostalgia since Bruce Wayne had it taken from him. The last thing he'd experience before the devastating loss of his parents would be film, specifically the swash buckling, adventuring do-gooder, Zorro. Which, along with a fateful evening with a large bat bursting into his study, would be the source of his alternate persona, Batman.

^^
Cool story bro. Good thing you're not in charge of making Batman stories.
