Robin's film choices may not be as good as his classic comedies, but his stand up is still great.

Absolutely. Good Will Hunting is one of my favorite Williams movies. I also enjoyed Death to Smoochie I might not like every movie he's been in, but at least he's trying different roles instead of banking in on the same old act.

“As much as possible” will be filmed in IMAX, he promises, and he also makes specific reference the opening sequence being something impressive, something that could live up to, if not surpass, the spectacle of the last film.

A Batman/Catwoman rooftop chase would be damned awesome.

Or a full scale action chase with the Gotham Police Department in hot pursuit of the Batman, followed by a montage leading from the events TDK to TDKR (Gordon tipping Batman off secretly, Engle news reports about Joker, crime, Harvey Dent, Batman, etc.).

OR

An opening action sequence of the GPD cornering Batman, almost like this, with Batman somehow escaping of course.

Something like GCPD cornering Bats would be a pretty cool opening scene and would be a direct tie in to the way the last one ended.

I wonder if this is still based on the Prey arc.

I said earlier in the thread that I heard it was a terrible story, but it was actually the sequel to Prey (Terror) that was awful. Prey is highly acclaimed.

I want to read it, but it's impossible to find for a non-insane price.

Prey is awesome, one of my favourite batman stories. That said i also enjoyed the follow up, Terror. Not nearly as good but i still enjoyed it. Especially as it featured the scarecrow. But yeah, if you can track down Prey tpb or the single issue's i'd highly recommend it. Its great. Show's how Hugo Strange is one of the best batman villains, and the Night Scourge is pretty cool too.

No kidding. I can't find it for less than $100, and if it's 100% true that the new movie is based on the book the price will only continue to go up.

I just downloaded it a couple days ago. I hope with news about the movie DC will re-release it, and/or give it Absolute treatment.
