I heard about the spoiler before I got the CD, so I stuck a post-it to the back of the jewel case so I couldn't see the track list.

Then, it was promptly spoiled by the local radio DJ. :cuss :banghead

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

You mean Qui Gon dies???
Guess I dont have to rent it now
:)

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I guess I shouldn't mention that Padme and Queen Amidala are the same person. Whoops.....

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

It'd be more interesting to me to make Catwoman, her from the start, stealing from rich socialites etc and happen upon Wayne manor for a job to encounter him that way. I don't feel like a whole team up against the villain or even a sidestory connecting her directly to Bruce is needed to make the most of the character and still make it enjoyable. She could come across Batman and fight with him and then leave with a quip like "Some other time we'll have to finish playing" or something and be done from the movie.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Lame article on SHH got me excitied. No real 'news'.

https://www.superherohype.com/news/articles/125197-christopher-nolan-on-the-dark-knight-rises

Christopher Nolan talked about the third installment of his Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises, at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival where he was presented with the Modern Master Award for Inception on Sunday night.

ComingSoon.net/SuperHeroHype attended the event and sat in on the tribute to the director at the Arlington Theatre in downtown Santa Barbara where Nolan said he saw Aliens years ago.

We listened in as moderator Pete Hammond asked where he got the title from and Nolan joked, "I banged my head against the wall."

The audience laughed and then Nolan went on to say, "We've worked on it a long time - David Goyer and myself. We're about 12 weeks away from shooting. We start in May."

It's been known that Nolan wasn't sure if he was going to do another film or not, so when Hammond asked why he decided to do a third one, he simply said, "It was about finishing the story."

Nolan still wouldn't confirm whether Anne Hathaway would play Catwoman or just Selina Kyle. When asked, he smiled coyly and wouldn't say a word.

The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to open in theaters on July 20, 2012.

At the same time Nolan will be directing The Dark Knight Rises, he and his wife/producing partner Emma Thomas will also be working on the new Zack Snyder-directed Superman film, which will star the newly-announced Henry Cavill and hits theaters in December of 2012.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I've been watching TDK almost everyday on TV.. it still has an awesome feel to it.

It will be hard to do the same or better for Nolan.
