Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I think what everyone keeps referring to as a "skeleton hand" on the mask is actually a series of tubes/coils.

I agree. That's what I saw from the start, myself. I'm sure they serve some technical function that likely enable him to be 'Bane,' while stylistically they aid in the menacing look of his mask.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Not to change the subject, but is anyone else pumped about these virals?!?! They're starting early enough that we might see them carry on for a while.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Not if computer nerds are gonna ruin them before they can start. :lol

If you snooze, you lose.

That's what it was all about in the first one. As long as they keep it virtual and real-world oriented, I don't think they'll have a problem.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

No I mean some nerds hacked the picture out of the site before it could be revealed properly, the way it was intended. :lol

Oh, that DOES suck. I didn't read about that at all. Who posted that it got hacked?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Sorry I'm late to the party. :lol I wonder what they are going to do with the mask. It looks like a gas mask, so aside from the fact that Bane always wears a mask I would guess its temporary. I guess that would be dumb for a teaser image though...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I'll admit that I was not sold on Bane until seeing this teaser.

I'm now convinced that it was a good choice for a villain, a good choice of an actor to play said villain...and he looks like he can ____ Batman's ____ up real quick! :lol

I think he's going to jump up on the hood of the Batmobile and take a big stinky ____ on the windshield! :horror

Bring it!

I hope this movie is rated R and it's bloody violent as all hell :yess:

I want to see him shove Batman's head into a dirty toilet! :lol

Im kind of worried that the whole idea of Bane is too sci-fi/fantasy for Nolan's series. And this picture isnt exactly calming my fears.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I have complete faith in Christopher Nolan. He's never let us down before. His movies are breathtaking and spectacular and never cease to amaze and excite me. So I'm kicking back and just checking out all this behind the scenes stuff, and waiting for next summer when another Nolan masterpiece is released to the world. :D
