Re: The Dark Knight Rises

If Green Lantern is bombing at the box office there's no way in hell a Deadpool movie is gonna do any better.

:exactly::lol

music to my ears

man I better stop checking in on this thread.. I completely skipped any news on the previous two films, but i've been reading up on everything for this one.. :(

I know right. Im sure Nolan will have enough suprises up his sleeve to still floor us though

Pretty sure the little Batpod flip on the wall was CGI too. It was cool in theaters, but looking back it's clearly CGI and kind of childish.

Im glad I wasnt the only one that felt that way.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Your brain can tell the difference between something real on the screen and something digital. When that semi turned over in TDK and the Batpod did that little reverse flip on the wall, I had goosebumps in the theater. I literally had a physical reaction. CGI doesn't have the same impact because you know it's fake. We've been fed so much CGI over the last decade that we've forgotten the visceral charge that can be had out of actually seeing amazing stunts captured on film. Even blowing up a miniature can look better on film than CGI. Nolan will always choose the best tool for each scene or shot, and not just fall back on CGI for everything. That's one of the things that makes him great.

:exactly: After rewatching that scene you can tell it's CGI. I always found the batpod "wall flip" scene to be extremely lame.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Pretty interesting, kinda figured the suit would be this way. Even if this article isn't official:

Forget the actual plot, immediately following Anne Hathaway's casting as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises," speculation began brewing over just what her costume would look like.

We may have an answer. HollywoodLife says they have the inside word that Hathaway's costume won't be quite as suggestive as Catwomen of yore.

"Anne's outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies," a source very close to the costume design told the website. "She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it's going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman costumes. She's going to look more like a robber... But fan boys shouldn't be worried. This costume is going to be form-fitting enough to make Anne look smoking hot."

Well, whew.

Hathaway has spoken a number of times of her "Dark Knight Rises" workout routine, most recently telling Harper Bazaar in their new cover story, "I've always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong." The routine, she says, is five days a week, which includes stunt training and dance.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Halle berry catwoman costume looks really bad and lame.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

FT-...what?!
Excuse me, but no, hopefully not.
Worst "Comic Adaption" ever...

Yeah saw that over on SHH

Also - Wayne will have a new ride, because his old one got smashed up of course

https://batman-news.com/2011/06/28/bruce-waynes-new-ride-in-the-dark-knight-rises/#!prettyPhoto[Bruce%20Wayne%E2%80%99s%20new%20ride%20in%20%E2%80%98The%20Dark%20Knight%20Rises%E2%80%99]/0/

That will make it a new lambo for each film - that's how he rolls

Also - check this out:

Scenes for the new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises could be shot in the Highlands.

Newspaper reports have suggested the A9 near Inverness will be shut to allow a Hercules C130 aircraft to land on it.

It has also been reported that this scene involved Batman trying to crash land a plane - and many people seem to believe this could be the epic opening sequence Wally Pfister has referred to.... hype is going into overdrive now :yess:

Don´t give a _____* if it´s a lambo.
Tumbler 2.0 and THAT´S ftw.

:lol
