Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

It sure read like BS! :lol

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

The Emily Blunt as Catwoman rumor seems to keep coming up and going around. I'd definitely support that choice.

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

Dear god the 3-D possibility better be a joke.

Aww. :monkey2

She would be a great choice.

Also, I'm all for a Gotham Knights title. I like what it implies.

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

Gemma Arterton would be a good Catwoman.

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

I'm just not sure what kind of role Catwoman would play. She's just a petty burglar really. Nothing overly threatening to Gotham or Batman, just a distraction. I guess they could play her up as the love interest, but we'd still need the real villian with or without Catwoman involved.

sfa , I too would like Scarecrow to show up, even if it another small cameo like in TDK. Maybe in Arkham (locked up this time)?

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

latino review? batman triumphant? i've heard that title a couple of times before.

thanks for the link. interesting points, though personally, i wouldn't like the catwoman angle on how it's played out. levitt will be good, but really, after seeing alice in wonderland, depp would make a great riddler.

if there's a love interest, i'd rather it be Talia, though of course, not too many people know about her, but then again, not too many people knew who Ra's was as well when he was in Begins.

and another Nolan-Bale Batman after 10 years? WOW!

all in IMAX? double WOW!!! i wouldn't want Batman in 3-D anyway, so IMAX all the way!!!

Catwoman's biggest asset is her capacity as a hero. None of the Batman Returns nonsense. Ed Brubaker is where it's at. Selina has as much vigilante potential as Bruce, but she doesn't hold to his conceptions of right and wrong. Yes, she's a thief. Just a perk of her talents, which are comparable to his. What happens when she is on his side?

The best use of her would be as a foil for his condition now as a fugitive. She thrives on the wrong side of the law. He is trapped there. She could easily be used to demonstrate the power of not being beholden to the rules of society. He has already abandoned those rules whether he acknowledges it or not. She could bring it to the surface and show him how he is the better for it, that it is not a liability, nor a cause for guilt, and in doing so, inspire him to take the final steps toward becoming the legend.

Those are some very interesting points, would love a catwoman arc in the 3rd film encompassing some of the above

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

With Rachel gone there is no other female lead in the mix and as much freedom as WB will give Nolan, there is no way they'd let him have a huge film like this without a female character. Unless they want to throw in Vicki Vale again, Catwoman would be the most obvious choice without getting too obscure, or creating something out of the blue like Rachel again.

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

That article made some interesting points, even though posted on April fools.

I personally believe that Nolan will never recast the Joker because of what Heath did with the role.

But, it would be amazing to include him at Arkham in a darkened cell, even if they only used some remaining lines Heath read as the Joker. I also like the idea of bringing back Cillian as Scarecrow in an Arkham cell as well.

Re: Batman/Dark Knight 3rd Film

If anyone would know those details it's gonna be the ones who won't spill it.

So... APRIL FOOLS. ;)

We may see Selina Kyle, but I doubt Nolan would do Catwoman.
