Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Well you're already wrong about one thing:

From leaked pics we know..

when Wayne visits Gordon in the hospital he's wearing a ski-mask. No reason for that if Gordon knows his identity.

Soooooo.. start eating. I suggest you fry it first, and luckily since it's the DX Bats you won't even need to add oil. it's already there thanks to HT's FUBAR QC. :lol

I'm thinking Chinese stir fry! :slap:lol

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

i just had a thought, (depending on how the story pans out), wouldnt it be great if batman was actually active during those 8 years, and the after credits bonus would be a montage of his greatest battles with various foes during this time. it would be a great little bonus with cameos from as many villians/allies as possible. Some of these stories can then possibly be expanded in different formats.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Even with all the intricate story elements taking place in BB/TDK, my favorite thing to do is still watch the escape from Arkham/Tumbler chase from BB in my insane home theater.

The sound of the Tumbler still gives me chills and still rattles my room.

You are losing out if you don't watch BB with a subwoofer or two.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Any chance for a Joker digitally enhanced cameo appearance?? (that eventually would end being the much anticipated Joker DX 2.0 release) Love this idea although not probable....anything HT knows but can't tell??

No and I don't know why anybody would love that idea. :dunno

The Dark Knight WAS the Joker's movie. Having a digital cameo would be kind of cop-out for the character and what Ledger created.

It s a wonderful sound.even with my humble set-up.

I also love watching the interchanges between Freeman and Bale, they have such great chemistry together!!Reminiscent of Q and Bond in "Goldfinger".

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Yeah, I can't see it happening either but there's a whole bunch of people that want this to happen. They basically want Batman the martyr and the idea has caught on.

That is weird. I really hope they dont fricken kill the joker. I mean I don't care if this is nolans batman. Atleast mention other villians

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Nolan was going to use Deleted footage from the Dark Knight of the Joker for this new movie and do something digitally too
but when he asked Heath Ledger's family if he could use his deleted footage for the Dark Knight Rises They said no, they would not want him to do it
so Nolan respected their wishes,
At least that's what I read about this anyway, so yes Nolan was going to use the joker at some point, at least for a couple of shots, but then he won't now

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

That rumor was complete bull____. Nolan even denied it.

JOKER WILL NOT BE IN TDKR.

The best you can hope for is the character being mentioned.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

TDK was all Joker, why would anyone want the sequel to TDK to have more Joker in it again, just watch TDK if you want 2 hrs of Joker and his chaos.

I hope TDKR gives me more Batman and his tech this time out.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Christian Bale interview...
On Anne Hathaway:

“I had plenty of scenes with Anne, and I was there when we did the screen test for her. The thing that I said to Chris [Nolan] that day was that there were many very accomplished actresses who had read for the role. I’m terrible at auditions, so I’m very impressed when somebody really seems to acquire an ownership of a character without having worked on it or prepared for some amount of time.” I saw that in Anne, When Chris watched the screen test, he agreed that Anne did a wonderful job. In many ways, she has the hardest job. There are a number of people who feel that the Catwoman role has been defined previously. So, I always saw Anne’s role as being the toughest job of any of us. In my case, I’ve stopped referencing outside sources. I now reference Chris’ own world of Batman as a guide to what I will continue doing.”

:monkey1 YOu MEAN I got BAMBOOZLED? :monkey1

oh well... :banghead live and learn....:slap

Oh and here is The picture of Zsasz
I guess he was in the movie for a couple of seconds,
https://www.comicbookmovie.com/images/users/uploads/9357/batman 3 zsasz3kf.jpg

Zsasz was in several scenes in Begins. The early scene where Crane testified on behalf of a criminal (before Dawes calls him out for being paid-off by Falcone to get people moved to Arkham). The criminal was Victor Zsasz. He was shown, and called-out by name. He was committed to Arkham rather than sent to Blackgate.

He was shown during the Arkham breakout in the image you linked (though I didn't know they actually had the carved marks ... cool addition).

He was also the criminal that was trying to attack the little boy and Rachael Dawes with a knife in the narrows after the fear toxin release. I think Batman took him out.

wow you're right, I didn't really pay that much attention about it or him but, wow, I mean I do remember him when the Arkham breakout happens, I remember that but I don't remember the Crane scene, I guess he is there

wow, that makes me wonder, it would be interesting if they brought him back for Dark Knight Rises or something, I mean, it would be really interesting and cool if they even used him more

You can see the scars in that scene too ... guess I never looked all that closely. Zsasz is one of Falcone's hit-men ... called "a man that butchers people for the mob" by Dawes in the ensuing corruption accusation against Crane in the Courtroom hallway.

I actually hope there are several of cameo's like Zsasz's in TDKR. It'd be cool to run across Oswald Cobblepot as a mobster, or Dr. Fries, or Harleen Quinzel ... or whatever fits the plot. Certainly not as a major player -- but just as a side thing. Depending on how they're dealing with the 8-year gap between TDK and TDKR, you could even hint that Batman had clashed with them in the intervening years (though that would certainly work better for Cobblepot than for someone like Fries). Even Vicki Vale or Harvey Bullock would be interesting cameos.

Yup, just as true as eddie Murphy cast to play the Riddler.:rolleyes2

There's certain rumors about every movie like this that people actually believe. Blows my mind.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Is scarecrow in this movie, or just stated that cillian murphy is in the movie. I can't really see scarecrow playing a part in this, due to the large amount of characters already. Unless if they go for the 10 second horse match off again that was pointless, and would be again. I can't see that happening. I can see Crane being in the movie, and Batman questioning him from Arkham, about his connection with the LOS, in order to try and find out about Bane's involvment. That is one thought. Secondly and people will disagree, I believe the Joker should die in this movie if it is to be a finale. Joker being alive for me means that chaos will never end, his story can not just end with him sitting in Jail. I believe they won't show the joker, but I can see Bane smashing through arkham causing a riot, and breaking out inmates/ the insanes. Banes comes to a holding where you see the back of him enter the cell and the shadow of another sat in the cell. Bane talks to him about finishing what he started. The voice we hear back is the Joker's that we recognise basically refusing due to the nature of the Joker, he does what he wants, and not what he is told. With that we hear the sounds of Bane Smashing in to him and the whole time the eeriee laughter of the joker echoing down the corridors as it his happening the whole time. Later on in the film get mentioned that the joker was killed. Not the best storyline to kill off a great character, but the most to stay true to the character without the use of replacing him with another actor in the film. My thoughts anyway, without leaving and plot lines open for future batmans.
