2 months out before Avengers we finally got our big trailer for that one, and what a doozy it was (admit it void ).

I forsee the "knock our socks off" trailer for TDKR coming around mid May.

But it was pretty awesome


I think we may see a full blown 2nd trailer for TDKR sometime in April, latest May

How did people on here feel about Heath being cast the part of Joker before any of the footage was released? ..I know many of the fans doubted he could pull it off, was that the case here too

I had just seen Lords of Dogtown when it was announced he was cast, so I was trying to convince all my friends that he could pull it off.

Lords of Dogtown, one of my favorite movies. He was better in that than in Brokeback Mountain.

Nope, not even close to Keaton as Batman or Evans as Cap or Winkler as Fonzi.

I was skeptical, I was expecting to see some cast who 'looked the part', had a crazy look to them already and a very sharp jawline
(I kept imagining Crispin Glover as the Joker).

So when Heath was cast I didn't think he looked like 'The Joker', I knew who he was and enjoyed some of his previous films...but I was surprised by his casting. I didn't really have good or bad expectations, I really had no idea what to expect. Then once the first image of the joker was shown (that dark shadow image where you only see features of his face, I was sold. He was the Joker in and out.

And boy did Heath ever impress me and so many others. One of the most skilled performances I have ever seen on screen. I know many actors devote their life to their roles for a few months, but Heath truly devoted his life to the dark character of The Joker (mentally and physically; read up on what he did if you haven't) and it gave us the performance of a lifetime.

There will be other great Jokers in future reboot I'm sure, but I just don't think any actor will be able to top what Heath did.
