Too early for me to say I don't want Bane.

Usually I don't need to see a movie to decide if I want a character or not, but with Bane I still need to see how his battles play out against Batman before I decide that his boring bdu pants and boots belong on my shelf.

Another character with boring bdu pants and boots that I already purchased was Nick Fury, hopefully his character delivers in Avengers.

Regarding lolCatwoman....she might not be as sexy as Returns Catwoman, but her character might turn out to be worthy of a figure purchase, lets see her ride that Batpod first.

I think come April, TKDR will start their big advertising push. The prologue got me pumped and so did the trailer. But it's been so slow since then.

I agree, that this should be batman's film. Bane will be a cool villain, kinda like Scarecrow. But he won't top Joker. As for CW, I like her motives, and am looking forward to seeing what she's actually like in the film.

When Ledger was announced in 2006, I was like, "LOL, WUT"? This was coming off of Brokeback Mountain and I was thinking out of all the actors they could pick, known and unknown, why the hell pick him? I was one of those that participated in the "Brokeback Batman" jokes.

When pics of TDK started coming out and info about the Bank Heist and clown masks was going around though, I sort of got over it. I just accepted it and didn't really think it would be a bad performance, nor a good one either. This was back when those production pics of him with just the green hair and everyone was speculating that there wouldn't be red lips or white skin. Basically a full fledged "teh realistic" boring Joker. I actually dug that concept for awhile until this was shown.

I thought that looked like ____, but I was still excited and I thought the scar idea was a good one.

Then when they showed those pics of him in the car, and at the party in the full purple suit and green hair, I didn't have any negative things to say. It was all good.

When the trailer debuted it pretty much cemented the fact that this Joker was going to be damn good ____. I couldn't wait until July 2008.

Wish I could say the same for TDKR. Bane looks and sounds like ____ (though, I kind of like his lolzy speech dialogue and I can understand it), Catwoman looks like ____ (no ass, no bewbs, generic matrix character design), it all looks like ____. ____in' trailer too. When the TDK trailer began, with Batman, and the Joker voice over, you know it was gonna be a Batman film, a damn good one. With TDKR, it's a little British kid, singing the national anthem, at a football game with annoying political crap/1% movements thrown in and Batman, behind the scenes. Oh and the merchandising and marketing sucks for it too. It's worse than Begins, that practically had none.

I just want to go see it to see if I'm in a scene somewhere and if Liam Neeson is back, whereas in 2008, I was pumped and couldn't get enough of the film itself. For this one, I can't wait until it's all over and everyone moves on.

Agreed, When the trailer for the dark knight came out . I instantly said that this was a batman film. The tone the look and everything about it just screamed batman. It was just from the teaser alone. I honestly think that TDKR cant top TDK becuase it pretty much was the ultimate batman movie for me.
Bane doesnt look scary at all, he just looks like some terrorist cosplayer and catwoman is just utterly disgusting. I mean why put those cheap halloween ears on her ? I love batman but this movie just doesnt look like batman to me. It looks like inception 2 with batman making a cameo. I dont know about you guys but i dont see anything dark and brooding in this movie like I saw in TDK.

I love complex, thought provoking stories as much as the next guy (not a fan of shaky cam, BAY explosions, CGI stuff), but which is better?

Anne Hathaway whispering into Bruce Wayne's ear and scolding him about what a bad, bad man he is while a kid sings the national anthem at a Steelers game with obnoxious fan boy chants in the background.

Let me tell ya....that Avengers trailer, especially the part you mentioned, has brought back all the faith I needed to be psyched for that movie....that seriously is one bad ass trailer....even void has gone on record as saying that's the best trailer he's ever seen and that he's now more psyched for Avengers than TDKR.

Let me tell ya....that Avengers trailer, especially the part you mentioned, has brought back all the faith I needed to be psyched for that movie....that seriously is one bad ass trailer....even void has gone on record as saying that's the best trailer he's ever seen and that he's now more psyched for Avengers than TDKR.

Best trailer I've ever seen is probably either the teaser trailer for Terminator 2 (making the perfect Arnold), the first Dark Knight trailer (you're just a freak . . . like me) and/or the Batman Begins teaser.

I remember a trailer for LOTR that was pretty epic too, I think it was The Two Towers. The soundtrack they used was the template for a lot of fan trailers. Can't remember which Trailer it was though but it was a great one.

Spider-Man 3 and Terminator Salvation had really good trailers, but they turned out to be ____ or, not what people expected.

There's probably going to be a trailer in May and I guarantee the focus from a promoting stand point is Catwoman from May till July. So I'd say you're in luck. Bet there's a Catwoman character poster too.

Hopefully there's footage of her on the Batpod or doing Catwoman stuff and not Anne Hathaway, er, Selina Kyle dialogue about current world issues. Oh and cats, there better be lots of cats.
