Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I'm glad no one else is still in my office, so I am allowed to test this theory out to the fullest extent.
My findings: it is true.
I did it quietly in my head, and it worked.

Def gonna think of something for that T Shirt contest
And... I hope the final cut is 4 hours
Slightly more realistically, a 3 hr movie would do me just fine
Post your design here when you're done!
I might have to PS one

Nolan isn't known for having deleted scenes. The man trims the content in script form before shooting. Yes, a handful of footage was absent from BB and TDK that we know of. But I don't think much more was shot than what we saw.
If he has about four hours of footage, he plans on having most of that in the film. If WB tells him to cut it, he will. But maybe, finally, if that's the case we will probably have our very first extended director's cut from Nolan.
But part of me believes they wouldn't make him cut it down. Fanboys would drool over this and go ga-ga. And I think with everything else they've done with this movie, WB seems to let Nolan do whatever the heck he wants no questions asked.
I'm ecstatic. I hope this is real. I was thinking 2.5 hours and hoping for 2.75-3.00 myself. But I'll take 4.00!
I think this movie is likely to be unusually long, think Return of The King long, I hope so anyway
