Well yes of course, i'm not expecting 4 hrs, but 3 hrs is certainly possible in my mind

I would love 3 hours,
but one problem that long movies have is that they cannot be played as many times as shorter movies,
I remember reading how another movie had this problem, I dont remember which one,
of course people went to see Lord of the Rings and Potter movies, so it doesnt always applies,
but I don't know if people would go for 3 hours, besides the Nolan and the Batman fans,
I could already see people on tv and talk shows bashing the lenght...

You people should learn to read inbetween cat tumblr blogs, it's the MTV guy blindy speculating it could have been as long as 4 hours.

No where at any point did anyone actually say it's 4 hours. And on top of that, try to think outside the fanboy bubble, I love Batman but I don't want to sit for 4 hours and I can assure you the people who only moderately like Batman definately don't. Thats probably the best suggestion i've heard in fact to ensure this movie not living upto TDK. Which is also long enough, I still get tired 3/4 through after several watchings.

I do, what I wouldn't give to be one of those WB execs, they probably had a kick-ass after party, too, when they realized just how much money they would be making come July 20th.

Yes but your a fanboy, not the average movie goer when it comes to Batman. You may not be so gung ho your going to the midnight show dressed like a dead clown, but most people don't go on message boards to follow the production of a film. Most want to kill a few hours or show up on a date and go to whatevers playing next and isn't sold out.
