Well I sent a few designs for the T Shirt contest and everyone of them got declined for "not meeting quality standards". I had some pretty good ones involving "Why do we fall" which was basically an illustration of my own. Nope, still not accepted.
I see a lot of people, even professional designers getting upset on their site and on other forums because they're designs keep getting declined instantly. Some of them look really, really well done too. They must have pretty high standards. Whatever, ____ em.
I'm going to improve on some of my other concepts and keep at it, but here's one that I really enjoyed making (it got flat out rejected too). I was trying to think of way to incorporate all three characters and make a "character t shirt". This one is for Batman (which was made by myself, not a single reference pic has him in that pose) with the supporting villains.

I like the design but when it translates on to the shirt the layout and contrast give it a tire tread mark look.

And I love the design, DiFabio. I'd prefer it without the villains and extend the bats all the way down to lose the skid mark appearance. I wonder what the final design will look like at the fast rate these things are rejected.

I'd buy it. Maybe make all the bats (teh skidmurkz) form another batlogo? instead of just spreading around the shirt.
