Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I guess he could kind of work in Nolan's universe if they tweaked him a bit. I can't see a gigantic 7 foot pile of ____ that makes weapons out of his hands but I could see him being able to mimic other people using makeup or effects or even from an accident or something. Ugly mother ____er that's a master of disguise maybe?
someone called for darkman? but he's faced off with the bat already in begins.

Nope, rumors.
i stand corrected. sounded legit when i read it in a local movie site(they quoted collider.com i think). i checked around again just now only to find the tidbit demoted as rumor now by bof.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

After reading some of these last few pages, all I can say is I'm glad you guys aren't writing the damn movie. :lol

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I'm hoping Mr. Zsasz in the main villain, with Clock Man as backup.

Bring in Robin and just segway into an hour thing about his parents, totally don't focus on Bruce or his story for the last film.

Definately recast the Joker for a quick scene in Arkham too so I don't forget he's still alive somewhere, cause if I don't see him I get confused. Maybe have him played by a differant actor in every shot.

Oh and Gordon should def be raped by midgets TDKReturns style.

THIS IS GREAT!

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Black Mask would be the perfect character/tool to show how the mob has changed in reaction to Batman. Now they are wearing masks and escalating.

Exactly, it's like an amalgamation of the villain themes of the first two... the war against the mobs of Gotham, and criminals stepping up their game / theming in reaction to him.

I don't want her in the movie, but if Catwoman was introduced, I'd be happy if it meant it would include the scene where Black Mask feeds parts of Kyle's brother in law to her sister. But, there's maybe a couple of reasons they wouldn't use that part.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Holy crap, that's a pretty twisted scene. What story arc is that from?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I dont really care to see a side story about gordon cheating on his wife. That's not the exciting end to the trilogy. I'm calling rumor bull.

I would be seriously disappointed if that made it in as a side plot. I don't want them to sully the character like that.

I would love that. A way to make the universe even more twisted. :rock

I agree, no way do I want to see that in the movie. The fact that he had to fake his death to help protect her and then would go on and cheat on her in the next movie would be pathetic.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Jenna Jameson will be the main love interest in this one.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

so just to be clear, everyone is not going to be happy unless this batman story is
"OMG GUYZ! I'M SOOO GOTH AND GRIMDARK I CRAP BATS 'n BLUD!!"

just the vibe i'm getting from the last couple of pages.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I want Odonnell to return, not as Robin but in a small scene with a minor role. For example he can portray a guy that is sitting on the roof who accidently runs into Batman.

Chris: Hey your Batman

Batman: Hmpf!

Chris: I could become your partner!

Batman inspects him with a very critic view

Batman: You would not even survive in LA!

End scene.

I'm more for not turning gordon into a shmuck.

And as for villain casting, I really don't think it'll be black mask or hush. I just don't see it happening. The whole hush storyline was painfully obvious and the best part about it was to use all of batman's old already well-known villains against him...for nolan that leaves...scarecrow and joker? There's no jason todd/clayface fake outs..and theres no superman. It just makes no sense to even think about that character.

This next movie isn't like a mid-career batman movie. It'll probably be less then a year after the dark knight...he's still learning. My guess is, from what they've already done with the first two movies, nolan and crew are looking at batman books based on his early career or important/noteworthy

also batman can't afford to have his skull fractured or back broken in his last movie. I'd rule out bane also. I can't really see batman throwing done in a wrestling match.

Black mask is certainly do-able. I just guess I'm not convinced or I don't know if the character is really all that interesting to be thrown into the mainstream world of recognizable batman characters. Would that actually work?

I just wanna see a batman movie with a confident and competent batman. TCB

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I don't think Black Mask would be the main villian. He would be the mob villian of this film, like Falcone and Maroni were in BB and TDK.
