I really wish they'd stop trying to make games look like films. I have a 16:9 tv and monitor and I want to use the whole damned things to play games. Locking fps is a different topic all together, but to say I hate it is an understatement.

Well I have a feeling its going to be one of those games that gets glowing reviews but ok sales. It could be like Bayonetta! Great reviews but hardly anyone gave it a chance.

Great review! I'm really excited for this, as i've never given RE, Silent Hills or really any Horror game besides L4D any love. It's a genre I've always wanted to try but it seemed like all the decent survivor horror games and franchises were grandfathered over, I didn't really want to start in the middle. So this is a fresh take, extremely excited!


Love this part

From the word go the game is about survival in its basest form: there's a lot of action, but none of it is macho or glorious, and most of it is in the service of getting the **** out of town.

Edit : i cant believe it. Ive got the game early, and its not allowing me to install it because part of the installation is connecting to Steam in order to verified its been released. So i cant even install it until tomorrow, or i can Preload it now with a 40gig download like everybody else. Sat with a game i cant play. Yeah the modern era of gaming for the win. One thing to note is that i got the game retail at about £24-25 and steam is selling it £35. And its the game im pre-loading from steam. And this way i actually have a physical copy. The game is literally released here. I could go pick it up for the ps3, and be playing it right now. So im annoyed at that.
