Hmmm weird. I trash talk the dceu but a universe centered around black Adam a very obscure character and villian to Shazam would be silly . But it’s dc

The downside is there's no true built in fanbase. Meaning there's no beloved lore to set the core of good storytelling.

The upside is obscurity creates a lot of creative freedom, if used correctly.

If it's James Gunn, something like Black Adam has a chance.

If it's like Birds of Prey and everyone involved in that, then that's a different but very ugly situation indeed.

This is who wrote Birds Of Prey ( Christina "Crazy Eyes" Hodson. Look at that thousand yard psychotic glare )

She also wrote the recently cancelled and uber expensive to produce Batgirl film.

But Margot Robbie likes spending time with her. They obviously are working on their penmanship together.

DC is making the wrong films. They should be making "How To Lose A Guy Investor Over 100 Million In A Clearly Born To Fail Movie In Just 10 More Days" starring Christina Hodson.

I clicked to this thread to see the messages about The Flash 2022 film, but everyone complains about Black Adam Film on this thread. lol

The Warners don't deserve this character or the DC fan base. I mean, how stupid can they be? You have Flash altering the timeline and Miller being a whack job in real life. You keep Miller in 98% of the film and take your lumps. In the final few minutes, you have Flash (without showing his face) zipping around making sure everything is put back to normal. The last scene is Flash taking costume off. He turns to the camera and Ta Daaaaaaaaaaaa! The newest actor to play Flash. Honestly, how hard is it?

Saw that yesterday. I wonder if it's just a crappy cheap toy and that's why it's shaped the way it is. The details on the wing are the same as the original, it's just the shape that's off. Maybe it'll be the original in the movie, but these guys just felt lazy with the toy.

Everytime I see toys like that I thank the lord I grew up in the 90s when toys didn’t look like crap. Or maybe that’s my nostalgia talking

I'm pretty sure it's a new design, seeing as the original Batwing was destroyed in the climax of "Batman" (1989) so Bruce Wayne would have needed to design a new one. Plus this new movie is set many years after the original Keaton/Burton movies so it's not unreasonable to assume Wayne would design a new Batwing at some point even if the original wasn't destroyed.

He wouldn't have to design a new one, just remake the same one but yeah I think it's a new design on purpose.
