Bad CGI aside the kid in me was excited to see Keaton as Batman again. I’ll be watching this only to see the Batman scenes. Everything else was passable…

Back to the Future 2style Flash story with Keaton and Affleck Batman, revisiting the event of Man of Steel with an underpowered Supergirl and two versions of Barry as he tries to save his mother sounds like a nigh-on perfect Flash movie to me.

Unfortunately, The Flash suit is a MASSIVE step down. The comedy is awful. Keatons "I'm Batman" line doesn't work for me here and comes off cheesy as hell and to top it all off this movie is going to take my favourite universe that WB has bastardized for the last 5 years and reboot it into Gunn's DCU, the LAST person on Earth I would have given the reigns to.

I wonder how Zod is alerted to Earth if Clark doesn't start up the Kryptonian ship and set off the beacon?

Looks good, but how the hell does this fit in with the Gunnyverse going forward?

WB has to have hands down the most incompetent executives in the history of movies! Instead of staying on target they've meddled, fiddled, chopped, changed, gone this direction, that direction and constantly managed to blow both their own feet of repeatedly for a decade now. And they haven't learned a thing.

I love Gunn I really do, but I haven't got any faith in him when it comes to D.C. The plans set out thus far don't inspire confidence and he's also got dribbling idiots looking over his shoulder constantly. Ayyyyy Carumba!

Well, we won't know if it "works" or not til we see the results at the box office.

I love 1989 Batman. Like most dorks, seeing that movie in the summer of '89 was basically my moon landing. Keaton in that black rubber suit will always instantly trigger endorphins in me.

But I'm still not gonna go and pay money to see it at a movie theater.

I might not even watch the whole movie. I may only watch the parts with Old Batman, just like I initially did with Ghostbusters Afterlife. I skipped over those wiener kids and went straight to the end.

Yes it's nostalgia bait, but I don't even care. I just think it's cool. I would have been just as excited to see him back in the suit if it was for one of those lame Direct TV commercials or something. I'll even buy a figure of Old Batman, just cause it'll look good standing next to my other Keaton Batman figures.

You at least gotta hand it to Keaton (and Ford)....they stayed slim all these years. That ain't easy.

This !!

What will be really interesting is if this movie kills it at the box office ($1B ?), and it's the last one which is set in a Snyderverse aesthetic.

Then all of Gunn's niche "never heard of them" projects fail miserably.

I can totally expect that to happen given all that has come before with WB's.

The Keaton films are a product of their time, in this he looks incredibly dated and silly.

It's grounded in a Snyder world, and we got a Keaton Batman that can glide down and up with a henchman and then swiftly and as fast back down for a ground punch, all in CG fashion. Never been on the Keaton hype train, and definitely still not on it.

Trailer looks good, though. Shame ZSJL made me really like Flash and then this will be the end of it.

What a ****** ride WB has been.

Yep is there any word 100x worse than "fumbled" ??

We literally just went through the same song and dance of "It'll fail because it's not the Snyderverse" with The Batman and now that's getting a sequel and a TV spin-off. Just enjoy the damn movie (or not) as the sendoff it is.
