I think what people would potentially be upset with, is that on the heels of shelling out big bucks, only a few months later an upgraded set is released which means they'd have to shell out more money or have an inferior collectible (which the OCD in all us will not allow).

I might get canned for saying this but remember Hot Toys Predator 2? Well a few months after the original run Hot Toys released a BD version that was far superior to the original. Yet people still sought after the original release. Why? Because it was the original release! .... and that was a BIG BAD HOT TOYS who released it not a one man artist. People are paying close to 800 bucks for the original that cost no more than 110 when it first came out. So how much would collectors pay to get Rainman's Original Man with no Name?

You're probably going to say that doesn't really apply to your cause and I don't blame you. I wouldn't sell a Blondie if I had one.

So can we get on with this thread and not debate about this anymore? It's Rainman's decision. I'm glad you got your Blondie boo frickin' hoo poor little me. hopefully I score one later.

comes with Mortimer Headsculpt but maybe you'll be interested.

Custom made individually numbered pieces are a different beast than non-preset edition size mass produced products from a big company like Hot Toys, it's not really comparable. An individually numbered lithograph or statue is more apt. Be angry, if you must, with zuno and rainman or Kojun or blind voyeur or any of the other artists that implement a limited edition system and that you missed out on buying something. Being insulting and jerky to the people posting here is uncalled for.

But I agree we should move on.

The rings look fantastic! It's great seeing the progress on these.

This has been a labor of love for way too long. I've made everything you see minus the TT narrow shoulder body. I still have a few more things to do before I'm finished; then I will be making a very limited run of him (likely 5 - possibly 10) available to those who are interested. cheers.

interested! i call it! muahaaha

- a few questions and concerns
-will he include his colt with snake emblem?
-are you making anymore tweaks to his headsculpt... maybe its personal preference but his left cheek seems to be alot smaller than his right.
-are you adding his leather grip he wore in For A Few Dollars More?
-is the poncho going to be brown and not olive green?

He looks great!
I would like to see some detail shots if possible.
You mentioned before about possibly swapping hair and hat?
Great concept.
Congrats on a fine representation of the "Man with No Name".

I finally got around to opening my Mortimer set, and I have to say WOOOOW! After buying the Angel Eyes set I was thinking of letting this one go but now there is no way in hell I will. The outfit is simply amazing. To be honest I didn't even know he came with a greatcoat with shoulder piece, I love it! I had no choice than to assemble him on the spot and now I can't stop looking at him. A word of advice though: I used the narrow shoulder truetype, and I found it very hard to keep the shirt in its place when putting on the coat. So I think the regular Truetype might be a better choice after all.
My only regret is that I'll need to take him from my desk and put him behind glass in the war room to protect his black clothes from dust...
I can hardly wait to assemble Blondie and Angel Eyes, but above all I'm holding my breath for Tuco!

I see someone put the Rainman Mortimer head on the Bad body and put it on ebay. Why I wonder? It seems like an odd thing to do. The only thing i can figure is that he bought mortimer, liked the head on the Bad better, because it is much better, and bought that so he could swap heads and put the amalgum he liked least on ebay. But if this was the case why would he not just buy the painted head by itself?

Even still though its an option for those guys that missed out.

Interested!!!!!!!

Me three! Will you be offering them as complete figures, or will costume sets be available, too?

Btw, when you're ready, please post some pics of his pistola. If it's an 1851 Navy (cartridge conversion) like he used in GBU, then I am most definitely interested. Thanks! :gun

it still a giant LOL. the mismatching just ruins the figure. if its personal preference its a bad decision....

Great to see so many people interested! I've been working hard on this to try to get some more pics up; hopefully, this weekend I'll have some more details.

I will be making 5- 10 complete figures. No more than 10. Sorry, at this time, I don't think I will be doing any costume sets.
Yes, 1851 navy colt with rattler pistol grip.:D

Cool !!!
I think I needs one :)

What is the head sculpt ?

Right on Mr. Barlow-
The Eastwood sculpt is my own.

okay back to work now!....cheers

Everything is looking good! Clothing, rings, sculpt are all great.

Tuco looks like he's still missing something. I know it was part of the costume, but with no spurs, gun belt or hat, he just doesn't have as much stuff as Blondie or Angel Eyes or Mortimer.

Zuno, do you know if Rainman is making Tuco's outer coat? Adding that would really complete the costume I think.

And I don't know if I like the sweat or not?
I think Rainman put on a little too much.
The paint, while very well done, just isn't impressing me as much as the previous gunmen.
The hairline around his temples and mustache seem a little uneven and, it could just be the picture, but his eyes don't seem to have as much life in them as previous figures.

I respectfully dissagree with EC. I think this has the most life out of any of them and looks the most real. his body looks perfect. I wonder if Rainman stuffed some padding to make him a little fat.
