As some of you know, the extremely poorly painted examples are not consistent with the rest of the edition.

What does that mean exactly?

You mean there's good Faramirs to come? Let's see an example. Please. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning this one, paying extra for shipping, just to get another of the same.

If you're gonna say this, then let's see what is "consistent".

This kind of aggravates me. Being one of the first in line to receive this, I would hate to think that a month from now we'll be seeing pictures of a far superior Faramir.

Perhaps Sideshow should instigate a "Faramir Head exchange" program....maybe at SDCC?

Chris, since you're reading this thread, I guess you're inferring only SSF received inferior paint apps on their figs, not likely.


How about this, how about telling Brant or whomever is your Production Manager to make sure SSC paint apps on these figs are CONSISTENT with the proto paint jobs or at least comparable. With LOTR these paint apps are consistent or reasonably comparable with only 2 out of only 4 made in 2 years, that is a failing grade IMO.

This paint app issue has been going on for years now with SSC and no explanation given or even some plan to fix it, doesn't happen with Medicom or Hot Toys, what they show, they sell. Where's your Factory QC? Why do we have to play Russian Roulette with you guys?

What does a well painted Farmair actually look like because I haven't seen one, mine's not as bad as the others but it ain't close to the proto, please show us...

Been going on for years Bro. Where's SSC QC? Who approves this stuff to release to collectors, that's a SSC QC Production issue. How come it doesn't happen with Hot Toys and Medicom?

Gosh, I feel bad for the Sculptors when they see their work come out like this... Sorry WG... LOL.

And who approved that prod hair sculpt mold BTW...

As if the paint app issue weren't fairly big, now this lingering question of did all of us Freaks get unlucky and what is the consistent, Sideshow supported paint job. I deffinately would like to see some photos on this, don't supposed they'd take mine back with all my paint on it though.
