The way I did it, I took the bottom cord and brought it out through the hole in the cloak under his left arm up towards his right shoulder, with the buckle up there too. Then I bring the upper cord over the cloak and the right shoulder and work it through the buckle just like you would a belt, though I looped it twice for extra strength. If you look carefull at the pictures from my Faramir it might help; sorry if I can't get pictures to explain. You'll get it; mine is nice and strong without damaging the leather or anything. There is a hole on the end of one of the cords, though why I cannot say. As far as I know there's no use for it. Hope it helps!

Pleased? PLEASED, my dear Canadian brother? Oh, I'm more than pleased! I'M THE HAPPIEST KID IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW!!! If only you could all see his splendor, the wonder of his perfection, the majesty of his countenance! Oh the joy!

Let's not be crude, m'Lady.

It really is, however, the most wonderful thing. I absolutely love it. Such a wonderful character--I just finished the books again, and every time I read them I appreciate him all the more. Would that we could all be as gentle and strong as he.

I'm so happy!

thank u! think i got it. now which shoulder did the arrows in the quiver face? are they over his right shoulder or left? he holds the bow w/ his left so i'm guessing the arrows face the right shoulder.

Karen, have you tried another attempt at your repaint? I'd love to see more work from you.
