I got my Faramir last week and the paint (especially the beard and eyebrows) rubbed off at the slightest touch. Didn't really bother me none though since I just packed it away and sent to Josh for a touch of the Dark.

Anybody else getting their Faramir repainted? I'm curious to see what else has been done with him. It's one of the best sculpts out there; hopefully we'll see what other people do with it. After all, Anakin has a bajillion different repaints, so where is the Faramir stuff?

Didn´t re- re-paint mine yet. I have been busy with my Lion from Twisted Land of Oz custom and now I´m busy studying.

I went to the "dark side" of the board and bought me a Sideshow 12" Star Wars Qui-Gon. My second Sideshow complete figure, after Boromir :chew

I just noticed that the Faramir Excl is up for Second Chance on SS's site so I used some of my points to order him. yea! i foresee a repaint in his future but I'm glad to finally have him. i canceled him when i ordered him but feel good about using points for him.

mine arrived today and everything is TOP notch, especially his vest, except for the paint job on the beard and eyebrows. SS should be embarrased that they sent this paint job out to us. i'll have him repainted at some point.

I'm looking forward to see what poeple can do with Faramir. Darren has my Aragorn for a repaint right now (which I can't wait for) and I thought that would be my only repaint but I'm wavering a little bit with Faramir. Like the Captain said it's a great sculpt.
