I remember how excited i was to see AUJ.(still a good movie if not flawed) That excitement is gone.

/Will always have the LOTR trilogy

Here's a stupid question, do I need to see the first two movies before seeing this one? I've had both on disk for a while now but haven't been able to bring myself to find time to sit through 6 hours of a movie.

Yeah, I'd say you need to. It is kind of one big story. :lol

if you have not ever seen the first two films then yes you 100% should. if you have already seen them then you already know the backstory

No. Dwarves and Bilbo walk to mountain with gold and a dragon in it. Dragon gets angry. Screen cuts to black.

6 hours saved.

:lol yeah

to be fair all you need to see is the trailers for the movies and the extended clips online and you pretty much have what you need

it's always the same people whining about the first two movies sucking, yet they still will go see this one.......so they can come back and whine about this one sucking

well that's because the last one seems to be the best one of the bunch. I already endured the bad, is about time I enjoyed the good.

Some of you people in this thread shouldn't waste your money going to movies at all.

I guess that is if you felt the first two parts were bad. :dunno:

Snoop did I send you an invite to the Fans of Middle-earth group I started?

If I had to "endure" the first two parts of a trilogy, I wouldn't bother with the third part.

That's me as well. If I thought the first two parts were not good I'd just wait until it hit HBO and see it at home for pennies basically.
