I always thought Hillbilly Jim in his prime would have been a good Beorn.

He was always a character I loved and I think one of the first ones I really got excited to see on the big screen once we knew the Hobbit was 100% going to happen....
I imagined facial hair like this:
With kind of a Ron Pearlman brow:
So the mouth was more obscured by hair and the eyes were obscured by the brow, if that makes sense... oh well, as long as the character has the right flavor I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I don't think if have liked that look. It's not what I expected but I'm glad because I expected to see grizzly adams. It's different but so where the dwarves when I first saw them and I've grown to love almost all of their looks.

I've had a couple conflicts here on the board but that might be like one out of every 1000 freaks that I encounter... Not saying there's not people who bug me but I ignore them the old fashioned way.

Oh me too. It's just been a long going thing that crops up now and again and it just gets tiring after awhile.
Anyway, I haven't looked at it yet, but there's suppose to be even a better looking version of the trailer out now.
