When I got to Rue dying it made me sad. I really liked that these two paired up and where going to make a go of it. Seeing it on screen will be rough.

Yeah, the Katniss/Rue relationship really added emotion to the Game and helped develop Katniss as a protagonist; especially since Rue was similar to Prim. The part where Katniss put the flowers on Rue to make the Capitol see her as a person set her apart from the other tributes. If you have finished the 3rd book, then you know how the Rue/Katniss/Prim relationship develops.

I might check this out. But I heard something disheartening. It's filmed in that shakey like style. And all the action scenes are close ups, confusing, Nolan-esq, Bourne-esq, fight scenes.

Which I hate. But we'll see. If it's a good flick, then that'll be whatever.

And it also seems like you need to read the book before it.

i watched At The Movies and they said it's no good, action scenes are confusing ie: you can't tell who is fight who.

plus the movie is pg 13 so not only is the action not shown but hinted, but is all shakey, is what i read,

I really truly hate and despise shakey cam movies..
battle LA could have been kindacool if it didnt make me want to throw up

Just got back from the midnight show. I didnt read the books but i knew a little bit about them, the whole all go in 1 come out routine.

This movie IMO is very powerful. Its very long, but its very artistic in a way they describe this society. Its well written and performed. The camera is shakey during some of the battles but it works. Its a well crafted movie and def one of the best of the year id say. I will def see the sequel.

This movie is going to be MEGA successful. My theatre was packed, multiple showings filled with girls, this may be the next twilight commercially, but its a damn good movie IMO.
