It'll probably end up costing as much as a 1/2 scale. :monkey2 That sculpt already looks ****ing perfect so I can't wait to see the end result. This is what should have been in the damn movie instead of the cave troll abortion they used.

Prime is going to kill by bank account and my wife is going to actually kill me. ****ing 1/3 scale Doomsday. :rock :rock

That looks great already. Glad they didn't decide on the junkyard Turtle Shrek :lol

The lack of merchandise for BvS Doomsday shows that the design was a failure. The final boss in the 2.5 hour Justice League commercial and the only merchandise for him has been this piece of plastic ****

Ugh. I'm not even really familiar with Doomsday at all and I knew immediately that the design was all kinds of ****ed up :lol

I still vaguely remember the Death of Superman series as a kid and how impact it was to people.

if i remember correctly he was an experiment that some scientist made to test evolution or something like that... to test the strength or make the perfect being... something along those lines. he would get killed or die and the scientist would grab all the remains and make him again.

Doomsday was a Kryptonian evolution experiment. He was grown by scientists then put on a planet and devoured by creatures. Then the scientists would recover the remains, make a new Doomsday, and throw him back out to the creatures. Eventually, he evolved to where he was stronger and tougher to the point that they locked him away and jettisoned him into space. He landed on Earth and was buried. He broke out and wrecked **** until Superman killed him. Basically, when he fights something he grows stronger to adapt to whatever may kill him like growing more bony protrusions and gaining strength. If he ends up getting killed, he comes back tougher to kill than the last time.

It's about damn time--even though those announcements can still mean they're a couple months away from shipping. I have Drax, the Endoskeleton, and Ripley ordered. I still haven't pulled the trigger on Wonder Woman because I thought they would have announced the solo film figure already. I wanted to compare the two.

:lol I don't know how I missed your post, but you're right and said it more efficiently than I did.

no worries.

i think the back story was doomsday went to some other planet and started some shiz... and they "killed" him. so they chained his *** up and put him in a space coffin and shot him off into space... then he crashed to earth and broke free from the coffin.

What a lame origin. So glad they fixed it in BvS... :slap

I found the Warner Bros. Store Joker and Harley 1/6 maquettes! :rock Should get both of them next week to complete the line--minus the Batmobile. I still don't think I"m going to get that one.

Tried to get tickets for the days I didn't get during early registration for SDCC but didn't get through. It's going to be tough to get through everything I want to do with only three days. At least I get to go back, but it's still disappointing.

Three is better than none man! At least you get to go... unlike some of us... ahem !

On a separate note, keeping the eyes glued to the TV to see if evacuation time is in order as there is a 30 acre fire spreading about a mile and a half from my neighborhood!
