That reminds me, I had to quit the DC BTAS line as much as it pains me to do it due to the cost of sustaining the line. DC has no official distributor here in Asia so I've been relying on local online stocks (which marks up a regular figure to $50-60), and with the unreliable QC issues, there's always a chance I might get defective figures.

I guess I'll wait for something more high end, like a 1/6 BTAS Bats or something like (gulp), the maquettes like the ones Zod :lolhas.

That sucks about the BTAS figures, but I wouldn't pay that much for them either. I really like them, but I've been getting them from anywhere that I can find them for the cheapest price possible. The quality is so hit and miss that I can't rationalize paying retail for them. I absolutely love those maquettes though and think they're worth what they're going for now, especially if you're patient and find some good deals for them like I did. Every time I look at them I wish they would have continued the line.

I think the biggest issue with the BTAS figures is that you'll be taking a gamble ordering online unless there's some kind of return policy, which there aren't here. Since from what I've heard the QC being more less hit or miss, it would be a huge gamble on my end. I've came to accept that they're pretty much made for the American market where you can walk into a store and choose the best of the bunch.

Personally, I can't see the DCAU collectibles getting any better than those maquettes so I could see myself saving up for those in the future. I have the 10" JLU Batman, and it's fantastic. :lol

Even if you can't get the 1/6 store maquettes, the smaller maquettes are still great-looking--and they made more characters.

Don't tempt me. :lol

Well Figuarts put out an exclusive Goku the end of the last month at some con in NY and now it's exploded in prices on eBay. I'm hoping this is much like the Goku they did the one year where it premiered at a Mexico con and also came out at SDCC.

I'm not dropping $200+ on a Figuarts figure.

The most I've ever paid was for a $150 SDCC exclusive figure, but that was because it was out for some time. This might be the most heavily scalped of the Dragon Ball line this far. Although it's very likely it will be at SDCC.

They also made Black Canary and Green Arrow in the same size--though the bases are different. I'm looking forward to seeing if DC makes all of the JL figures in their animated line.

I can't believe those figures jump so high. They're cool but not $200 cool.

It's the DC bi-monthly box subscription. You can just jump on for certain boxes if you don't want to get all of them. Usually there's a pin, patch, shirt, comic book, and at least one Funko POP. Sometimes the POP is a deluxe one so that's all you get, but sometimes you get two POPs or a POP and something else. This is what was in the Superman box they did.

They'll set a deadline for the last day you can order the box--probably sometime in June. Sometimes they'll show you something that's in the box to entice people to order. For the Wonder Woman box, they showed the WW POP that was included. The Star Wars boxes have been showing the POPs early as well.
