There's always the chance you'll get disappointed when you meet a celebrity. I've had a couple instances in which I wish I hadn't gotten the chance to meet someone, but the good experiences usually outweigh the bad.

Me and my wife (girlfriend at the time) met Danny Bonaduce in a clothing store years ago.

He was nice, but that was because he was loaded and reeked of booze.

I used to see a ton of celebrities when I worked at Caesars Palace. Most were nice, but there were some that were monumental *******s. Seeing them like that will change how you see their body of work.

BTW I glad I was able to get July 3rd off since my wife will be getting a four day weekend so I can spend time with her. We also planned a trip down the shore in the Summer, the first trip were actually taking as a married couple. She is working hard on a swimsuit body. We got a stationary bike and she's been a machine every week, burning almost 10,000 calories a week. The computer on the bike said she's going nearly 30 miles a day... I don't know how she does it.

Yeah, Rafe was fantastic as he truly had a justified burning hatred towards the Drake brothers. I guess my favorite part was when Nate and Sam finds the truth about their mom, and had to escape the cops, that was pretty emotional to watch/play.

Yeah, Rafe was kooky & well-written; especially when he gets mad at Sully during the auction. They should get Jared Leto to play him in a live action movie. I just got to the part where you try finding the grave with the skull & cutlasses on it.

And I forgot about that part! I really liked that conclusion to the flashback scenes. Really good stuff.

just to let you guys know, I received the faux-faora, lady commander. I love the headsculpt. The tailoring and material of the jumpsuit is lacking but sufficient. The quality of the armor is good but I feel that there should be more spread out throughout the jumpsuit. I will need to compare with the statue. Articulation is awesome which is the only reason I am hesitant on replacing the body. But If I do replace it with a Phicen I think it would fill out the jumpsuit better. Also, I think it may be a little on the short side compared to the BVS supes.

I might have to contact a forum mod to see what they will allow in terms of photos from these types of products. Although, I can see their dilemna of not wanting to promote unlicensed figures, I think the information or proper review of these products would really help fellow 1/6 collectors i.e. the hayou super lightning man being grossly out of scale. Specially since I haven't seen a youtube review of some of the figures.

just fyi, got my notice for drax to arrive june 6th at ss. these GD thieves are screwing me for over $20 shipping on this thing! i just shipped a bigger and heavier figure out to north california last week for $16... and i don't get their discount! i swear i'm about done w/ their bs.

Are you planning to mod the body? The headsculpt is great but boy did did they messed up the proportions of his body.

He's definitely on the skinny side! looks good enough when he's mixed in with the other team... it kind of blends in pretty well.

Not really seeing a whole lot that you can do to modify to a different body. The sculpted details for all the tattoos would be impossible to replicate and look good.
