The Dark Tower isn't getting great reviews. I like the books but think I'll wait until the film is on Netflix. I didn't realize it's only 95 minutes long. That seems like an unbelievably short amount of time to properly get into what the story involves.

Haven't read the books, but have to say the trailer didn't interest me, unfortunately!

It sounds like the film is just dull and flat, which is sad because the books are awesome. Maybe the TV series will be better since they'll have time to flesh out the story and characters. It's definitely a story that shouldn't be done in a film or two.

Got lucky and snagged me a John matrix for $195 last night! Thinkin I'm going to make a cast of the head and bash a Dutch figure too

$195? And I thought $229 was a steal. You should like it. Like mentioned, the head just needs better paint, but overall the figure looks good in a shelf (I still haven't photoed mine yet) and being so accessory heavy is awesome. Took me about an hour to set it up until I figured out how to get the hand to hold the sling for the rocket launcher.

I'm probably replacing my POS iPhone 5S with the 7 next week so I'll probably get pics of it finally.

Well, this is ****ing BOUGHT. LEGO Voltron is coming next year!

It's one of those sets someone built to try to get them to make an official set. They got enough votes to pass through to LEGO for consideration, and it got approved. I can't wait to get my hands on this.

That's a good price! I think it's a better figure than it gets credit for.

Yeah I'm pretty stoked! I was surprised I snagged it so cheap! I've always wanted to pick it up just finally was able to get one on the cheap. Accessories ARE killer for this guy!

Looking forward to seeing your pics when you get them taken!

No idea. The article I saw just said it was going forward and that it'd be out next year.

Are those the ones that were puppets? I saw some life-size puppet gremlins up for order a little while back. They looked just like screen used items. I think I saw them on the Warner Bros. site. I think they were around $200 or so

Yeah, the same ones. Trick or Treat Studios used props from the film to recreate them as prop puppets. They're a much more affordable option than anything else out there when it comes to Gremlins. I got the Stripe Mogwai and really liked it so I figured they'd do a good job with these.

Nice

Curious to see how they stand on their own

I hope they do, but I'm afraid they won't. :( I want to hang them from Christmas lights on our fireplace mantel, but when they're not doing that I want them to stand somewhere. I may have to get big doll stands for them or something.

Yeah that was one of the main reasons that I passed on picking them up because I was worried about how they would be able to stand on their own. But with that new CNC machine I picked up, I bet I could probably pull something off to make it look decent. Hmmmm
