Sounds like a good time! I wonder what all kinds of things they have in there.

I just looked quickly at the website yesterday, but it I think there's a tour, the polar bear, the store, and the tasting room. There may be more, but I just want a pic with the bear and to see how many calories I can ingest of different Coke products from around the world. :lol

Well that makes two of us....too bad didn't know you were in Atlanta till yesterday....no too far from there...

Coke museum is ok, the Aquarium is where its at. Be sure to check out the Marriott Marquee hotel near there. MANY films are shot in that incredible lobby. Including the Hunger Games.

There is a decent Asian place right across the street there.

Most of the really good restaurants are in Buckhead thou.

Nice! Does your Colossus have a dark spot on the tip of his nose? It kinda looks like it, and a review I watched of it had the same thing.

I won't be in Atlanta until Friday. I'm going for a convention, but it's a real quick trip. I'm getting there Friday morning and leaving Sunday morning. That's cool about the Marriott--which is where they're holding the convention. :rock The company is buying out the Aquarium for Saturday night for attendees and the big appreciation party. That's about the only thing I'm really looking forward to this weekend--that and eating at Morton's Steakhouse.

I'd like to pick up that Colossus figure, but I kinda want to see it in person first. Though I suppose for the price I could just deal with any QC issues. That thing would cost $300 if HT made it.

yeah, they all pretty much are going to have it. it's a design problem w/ the box as the inner sleeve rubs it and scratches the paint off. it's a piece of cake to fix as it literally took 4 seconds. a silver sharpie would fix it perfectly... i just used a tiny swipe of testors silver chrome enamel. but really any silver paint/pen will put it back to stock and you'll never know it was there. i just snapped that pic right out of the box as some wanted to see his scale... and didn't have time to fix the dot before the old lady got home from work... and didn't want her to see all of them lined up or another purse would have followed! lol

do it D, i'm telling you i was on the fence at first too... but for $160 and having it in hand, SO glad i picked it up! it's a beast! heavy, looks really cool in hand and scaled just right to his massive size in the flick. especially if you have dead pool... in my opinion, this thing is a must! not really any qc issues outside the rub dot on the nose... which like i said, a 1st grader and his marker can fix! :wink1:

Glad to hear the rub is an easy fix. I know I'll grab him. He's one of my favorite characters, and it was awesome to see him done right on the big screen. I hated Singer's version.

yeah singers poor man's ivan drago was a big disappointment to me as well!

Well I went to the doctor and I'm going to need knee surgery like I expected. I'll be out of work at least a week at minimum.

That sucks. Hopefully you'll have a quick recovery. My right knee is starting to give me problems like my left knee was. I got that goop injected into my left one and it's been better, but I don't want to go through that again.

sucks but worth doing if done right. old lady's mom had both done. said it sucked for a bit but was a lot better after it healed.

Yeah, at least the rate for improvement with knee surgery is better than with back surgery. It'll be frustrating for a week or two, but then everything should be fine as long as you're careful with it.

plus just think of all the work you'll get out of doing not being able to move around... gettin the old lady to be your servant... lol i'd milk that for every red cent!!!

I just worry that my right knee is ****ed up because it has given me problems but nothing like the left. I sorta think it's only this way since it's gotta work harder because of the left's injury. He said he might go in and do nothing if he happens to find nothing. But if there's a tear, he's going to vacuum it out and trim it.
