I enjoyed MoS even those there are a few things I hated about it—tornadocide being the worst offender. It’s by far my favorite of the new DC films. JL was just a dramatic shift in tone and it dropped the stuff built up in BvS so there is zero payoff to the story. The DC fan in me desperately wants to like JL, but it failed on so many levels that I can’t get through it again. You have to watch it just for the spectacle of it though.

First flight is excellent. I think it's the best execution of it I've seen in any medium. Fatdiator's speaking over it was a nice touch.

It cuts a lot of tastelessness, adds stuff from trailers and Zimmer/JXL music.
It's not great but makes the movie much more watchable in my opinion.

That's really high for a film getting pretty mediocre reviews surprisingly really. But then you get the usual suspects that give 10/10 to everything.

That's just insane. I'm going for the second time this Sunday. I need another showing to really pick up stuff I missed the first time. I wonder what the final tally will be for this?

Yeah there's always going to be 10/10 people just like there is the 0-3/10 people. That being said, it's received some really high marks from those who tend to dislike most movies. I think there's an appreciation for what Marvel did with this one. If you ever get around to seeing it, I really think you'll appreciate it too. I was happy to see kids crying during the movie.

Watched Batman Ninja today. Started off well before it went WTF. It gets very stylized. Some of the fight scenes were fun, but most of the villains were wasted with virtually no screen time. I wouldn't mind seeing more figures made of the characters though.

I’m going to take it and get a custom frame made for it. Most of the prints I have on the wall are in the same type frame and I want it to match.

The story is pretty straightforward, but you will need to suspend all sense of logic during the final battle if you are to enjoy it. The art was well done, really the saving grace of the movie except for the dubbing. The mouth movements glaringly did not match the engligh dubbing in many places to the point it annoyed me.

I never watch the dubbed versions of films. I'm an old man that always has closed captioning on so the subtitles on foreign films don't bother me.

Going to Vegas in two days so of course I wake up yesterday with a sore throat and a cough. I haven't really been sick this year--anything I got was only for a day or two--but my wife has had ebola for six weeks. I'd better not have gotten that ****.
