This is what I'm afraid of. I'm sure there would still be a demand of a 2.0. I'd probably buy two: one for display and one to keep mint. I'm just not sure HT will do it in the next 5-10 years with Infinity Wars coming up :lol

Hot Toys will probably have figures for 20 characters and some of them will be the 4th, 5th, or 6th version of them. I don't think it's too much to ask for a 2.0 ****ing Christopher Reeve Superman.

It's offensive they never did anything more with the license. Luthor and Zod... like how do you gloss over them?

I think part of it is that Hot Toys has an aversion to making figures of bad guys. They'll make some, but overall there's no guarantee a villain from a film will be made--but they'll make several versions of a hero character. Just for Marvel films alone, there's no Ronan, Crossbones, or Yellowjacket and it took forever to get Loki and Thanos figures.

They did multiple Ledgers since they make a killed on them ever since the first DX.

On a side note, I get my NECA Leonardo I believe either tomorrow or Thursday. I ordered it last Tuesday and ToysRUs used the slowest shipping method, which I assume was horse and buggy. The tracking has been at a crawl.

Joker is always going to be a big seller so they'll make a ton of him--even if it's ****** Letoker. Even for DC villains though, they aren't consistent. No Ra's, Faora, Enchantress, Ares, or Dr. Poison. I can't believe they made Zod from MOS.

I think you're on to something with that. While I hated Sewer Squid, I would of definitely grabbed dumpster diver and Gozer Enchantress.

Nice updated sig, Snake! :duff:

How about Sideshow’s little mermaid statue?

I love J Scott Campbell's style so I may pick it up if the price isn't ridiculous for a 1/5 scale piece. I have the female statues from the Spider-Man line he did with SS and they are all fantastic sculpts. For whatever reason, his style translates really well to statues.

thundarr 01.JPG

I have been in a retro mood lately, so my winter project is making a 1/6 set from one of my favorite 80's cartoons. Converted a Phicen Schwarzenegger in Thundarr, Arial and Ookla in the works. :wink1:

The won’t make anymore Superman stuff unless it’s new film stuff....

People in Asia have no idea who Chris Reeves is ......never mind Zod.

Jesus Christ this week is taking forever. I knew it would since I'm leaving tomorrow, but knowing doesn't make dealing with it any easier.

So... I’ll be in Oklahoma City this weekend. Anything worth checking out?

Damn! If I wasn’t going to Vegas this weekend I’d meet up with you.

The Science Museum has a Ray Harryhausen exhibit with a ton of his models from his films. I’ve been wanting to check it out.
