LOL! This is exactly what I was thinking when I read the post. You beat me to it.

And yes, huhu..I did say BEAT ME...huhu.

You know how it goes laudel. You spend a few years here and you learn which peeps have a similar POV. It's only natural to enjoy some peoples thoughts and posts more than others. There are A LOT of cool members here. It's why I spend so much of my time here. :lol

Agreed, the cool members beat out the infantile trolls who pollute threads with dribble. We all know who these are. The real Marvel fans fight against prejudice. :hi5:

The international customers are in a total different world than you lucky guys in North America. As an example Brazilian customs handle packages from USPS and courrier companies like UPS/FedEx/Purolator/DHL differently.
When the package is shipped via USPS when it gets to Brazil it's handled by Brazilian postal service and I get nailed by 60% in import taxes over Product price + Shipping price(yes! Brazilian customs charge taxes over shipping cost).
When the package is shipped via UPS/Fedex/Purolator/DHL the package is also handled by the same company(UPS/Fedex/Purolator/DHL) in Brazil. In these cases Brazilian customs charge us up to 95% in taxes.
So it is better by from another dealer that ships it via USPS than from Sideshow that only ships via UPS/FedEx.

Yes, it is a tough world for Brazilian collectors!

I'm with you ricard, tax is a killer for internationals and the shipping method alone could cut costs by a ton. That's why when I went my US place last time I loaded up on a few boxes to carry back.

You have a big heart bro filip, I also don't like open ES but I can't afford not to have this in my collection especially when I already have IM, WM, BW and Cap on my display, Hulk will be a great addition to the team. But I know the strongest feedback we could give to Sideshow for us who don't like their open ES policy is by not buying them, but so far I am getting Galactus and Hulk :slap I know I fail.

Yeah, this will be available for many years to come, you may want to get it cheaper in the after market. I saw this statue up close at the con, although I like the pose honestly the paint job on this is not as good as the PF, so waiting for in hand pics probably will not be a bad thing since you can wait.

Can't wait to see this in your awesome collection Mamba. I've always liked your displays! :clap

Agreed brother gagaliya. With the new explosion of open ES items, Ironman maquette 1:1, RWOS, Stormtrooper PF, Hulk maquette, Wolf LSF, Warmachine 1:1, Galactus maquette. Open edition size has now permeated into the PF line. That funny thing is those Ex of fail people actually are supporting it because for most of these pieces there are no exclusives. Hypocrisy at it's finest. I'll just get it cheaper or for the same price a few years down the line like the IM 1:2. Anyways lots of good stuff to get til then : )

nah this is completely different with regards the weta items. sideshow has never gone the open es route with a vengeance like this in the past on their flagship items, galactus, lotr rider pf reg, and now hulk back to back to back.

fuzzy is right, they are testing the water, if the order level remained the same or even just slightly lower, expect many more open es on all popular items in the future. Batman pf reg is very likely to be open es...
