Premium Format The Incredible Hulk The Avengers

NEWBIE QUESTION: Doesn't 1/4 scale=Premium Format, and 1/5 scale=Maquette? Or do maquette scales vary?

I think Maquette = half scale (1:2)

Personally I can't wait to get this ultimate PF. Problem it's so big they will call it a LSF and it will cost big bucks. It looks great for a LSF but man I don't want to pay big $$$$ for a Premium Format figure. PF's should never go above 500.00. I understand that Legacy Scale Figures are bigger and thus will cost more but that is the problem with LSF is that they are expensive.

LSF and PF for the win.

I would gladly drop $500 for this sweet piece, but my instant guess is that it will be more.

PF's are all 1/4 scale. Maquettes can come in any size. Maquette just means that it's based on a movie character.

I don't understand where people aren't getting this. Sideshow themselves said Maquette from the beginning. Everyone saying PF or LSF or whatever is them 1: not reading or listening to what's already been established in this thread alone and 2: putting their own hopes/fears into a product announcement in it's earliest forms.

Legacys Neytiri was a maquette before it magically became a LSF. It's not unheard of. I won't be surprised if this makes it into the LSF line even if it is referred to as a maquette. No one should be.

Incorrect. Maquette has nothing to do with scale. It is a description of a sculpt produced by sculptors (normally for film) to show the director and art director what the character will look like. That is exactly what this Hulk is.

I got to see the Destroyer Maquette in person and it's massive. I would guess close to this Hulk. If that's the case this won't be (or shouldn't be) close to $1000. I'd guess $650 at most.

My post was not serious I was just calling it a PF and a LSF to pick on The Mike, since he pointed out that SS has been calling it a maquette the whole time yet other members have been calling it LSF or a PF. If you read it again you will see I call it one of the two like six or seven times.

I don't care what you call it, I just hope we all don't end up calling it to damn expensive.

Man if you guys think that´s expensive in my country buying even one HT is like MANIAC, I mean, regular salaries go around 3500 pesos, and a HT could go up to THAT... maybe if you preorder it you get it for 1300/1800 pesos... this is Argentina..
I was making around 10.000 for a while and I thought ok, gotta buy Joker dx from TDK, or Ironman MK 3 Battle Damage, as I think those are the best ones, but they were only selling them USED for around 3000/5000 pesos... INSANE, so I still have to get ONE.. I was about to buy the first avenger cap, as I like more the uniform, but the new one looks more complete, brings more, so I guess that is going to be my first.. dunno if it is the best option though haha.
ANYWAYS when I was watching this behind the scenes I was like OMG!!! THAAAAAT HULKK!!! but I'm hopeless hahaha. Still gonna try to get it

Saw The Avengers yesterday for the third time. Man Hulk is awesome in it...I love one scene in particular and especially the two words it's ending with. Shai is going to love it! Everyone is going to want this statue after seeing the movie!
