My wife and I love going to the movie for new releases. The theaters in san Antonio r nice, big scrrens, clear pictures, great sound.

...and no annoying a-holes?
Pointless when you already own all the other films in the boxset.
I would be interested because I don't have them all. It would be great to have them all in one set for a slacker like me.

@barb, if I go to the theater on the wrong side of town and watch something like Ted but for the most part crowds r pretty cool around here.

That's fortunate. I recently moved to Vegas from the burbs of Phoenix. The only movie I've seen so far is The Dark Knight Rises at Imax and it was fine and dandy as I saw it the Monday morning after release. In Phoenix though, I had many bad movie going experiences. More bad than good. I hate that so many folks act like they are sitting on a couch with their friends instead of a public place that doesn't need their commentary and brightly lit texts. Common courtesy just ain't too common.

I only really go to cinema for the big releases that I've been waiting on, even then I give it a few weeks to quieten down. Too many a-holes with kids squirming about and chewing in your ear. Add to that imax tickets are nearly the price of a new blu ray and it just ain't worth it.

Agreed!

Who started this cinema v's home theatre?.. Sorry! :lol

I have had this happen a few times. However usually with the big movies like Avengers and Dark Knight, I find that if you go on opening day that you get surrounded by fan boys and fan boys don't want any talking :)

I have had to tell my fair share of people to zip it. But after that they shut up and then I get to watch the rest of the film with the added bonus of feeling like a big man :) :) :)

So, this has probably been asked in this thread before, but....

Anyone find the best price to preorder this? $585 is the best I can find so far.

You guys!
I payed £445, roughly $725, and that was a great price delivered here in the U.K.
Other retailers are asking £550, $895.
Being a British Sideshow freak sucks.

You don't own Iron Man 1&2 Roberto? :thud:

The boxset was available for just over £30 @ Sainsburys, don't know if it's gone up now. :dunno

Edit; Yeh a bit more expensive now, still a good deal

Thanks. Now if I could only find this in the states. :(

I dig that, brother. I've also asked folks to shut their big yaps in the past. There were certain circumstances which prevented me from doing it this time.

It just ruins the experience.
Now, I just avoid the theaters and wait for the home release.
I'm not complaining either. I actually prefer it this way. :rock
