Never fails that when I go to see a movie some mom or dad walk in with 3-5 kids that either sit behind me or in front of me, then proceed to kick seats, eat candy in wrappers, and argue about who has the drink while the parent sits there in a coma. I only do matinees since I can't deal with teens anymore.

:lecture Oh, I know this one all too well. :slap

At least you guys have the option...I only watch movies on blu ray now, mainly because I have a two year old daughter, and we don't know ANYONE to babysit where we live.

But it's seriously too expensive to go the movies anymore. I can say that I saw the Avengers in an iPic theater and it was a really cool experience. Like first class movie watching.

We watched the blu-ray together.
I was 'dressed' as Thor and he was Captain America. :1-1:

Dollar Theater?
Costs several pounds over here. Not a cheap experience.

That's the way to watch it, I'm sure he will remember that the rest of his life.

My bad, didn't realize u were in the UK. Right, everything is more expensive there. Stateside after a movie has played for a while it will go to a dollar theater. There nothing fancy but its only a dollar per tix.

don't think anything up here is only a dollar. the cheapest is our older smaller local theater, $6 evening and $4 on matinees. the city is twice that.:slap and then 3D on top of that, i ****ing hate 3D.:lecture

We have 2nd run theaters here in the states. These theaters usually carry only movies that are just about to be released on DVD. These movies have already stopped playing at the regular theaters months before. The tickets are much cheaper. Where I'm from, they are not a dollar. In the Chicago-land area, a 2nd run ticket runs about $5. It's about half the price of a regular ticket.

During the Stan Lee video posted on Sideshow Experience, Hulk looked much greener than the promo pics. I thought it still looked great, and it was probably just lighting, but still, worth mentioning.

I just watched the Stan lee interview in the ss experience part of the page. Did anyone else see this and think the hulk looked much greener, brighter than the flat green in the proto pics.

I went to Comikaze and it was much more green ( in a good way) than the washed out proto pics I have seen. Really something to see in person!

Looked great under the studio lights.

It's been mentioned. :lecture
Looks great on that video. :yess:

Yeah I noticed that too, it looked very different than the promo pics but I liked it, I need to go back and watch it

I know this is a "Limited Edition" statue but does that mean any certain number? Sorry f this has been covered but this thread is huge. thanks.

Don't start that one again! :lol
It's a 'Limited Edition' Open Edition. :cuckoo:
They call it Limited Edition because they will stop producing, one day but they will make as many as they can sell.
There will be no number on the base so no one will ever know how many they made.
Really sucks but it ain't stopping us buying. :thud:
