So my buddy picked this up for me as a gift and I noticed the following below...

Green eye - noticeable as a black spot in eye.

Black spot under left eye - Again easily visible from a distance

Tongue color on upper lip. Not as bad given the angle.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

quality isn't there with the paint apps. looks horrible. that's just offensive, wtf!.. I thought the teeth looked nice on this one, but not after that pic.. wtf again...

The teeth look fine without the flash. Overall, it's a great piece. I can always accept small defects on products unless it's on the money maker.

Haven't really been paying attention to this thread, since I decided to pass on this (still think about it though ), but I noticed something in this pic. That looks like some unpainted sculpted eyebrow on our right (under the black paint). Sorry guys. I think it really is messed up, & not really meant to be like that.

But I guess it might not bother some of you, & that's cool. Enjoy

Terrible paint job. I'd have sent it straight back. So gutted about this Hulk. If I could paint I would have bought it because it is a cool sculpt and I like the large size. The dude on Youtube did a great job re-painting it.

I'm holding out for a better one down the line.

It really is a rough paintjob. You can see various parts around the face where the paint could be improved considerably. I personally would not be haoppy with it and so would definately ask for a replacement as i'd be confident that the replacement would be much better

Firstly, you've got a great buddy there

My pic isn't zoomed in as much as yours, but looking at it and at mine in person, the right eye decal on yours appears damaged. Personally that, plus the pink stain on his lips would be enough to warrant a change for me. The way dirt is painted on his face varies with every piece so if the black stain under his left eye bothers you a lot, that'd be another reason to have him changed too.

Hope you get yours sorted out soon.

If they say no just ask for a full refund and buy it again. They can pay the shipping back.

They will probably try and fob you off with a voucher.

I know it's rubbish really. Especially on something that's not numbered and is in all likelihood getting churned out.

Personally I don't mind small chips or breakages if I can glue it to look new but bad paint is something I can't handle.

The Lip looked horrible but the eye from farther away did not look too bad. The lip is an easy fix if you can get the color right.

Can I be friends with you bud ???

So... I forgot to update.

SSC replied on May 16th saying they were looking into the photos. They confirmed a replacement on the 17th stating it would take 7-10 bus days to ship and that I would have to destroy the old statue (wish I could ship it back... I'm in CA).

My buddy sent a follow up e-mail yesterday (30th) requesting an update with no response. My friend e-mailed me this morning ticked that nothing has happened. He decided to do a live chat.

He's never dealt with Sideshow before and his words, "It's been 2 weeks. literally 2 weeks of you having broken [stuff]. That's not acceptable..."

Is this the normal pace for replacements?

EDIT: SSC Live Chat Response:
"We had a slight delay in the arrival in the replacement parts being sent out to you. I can confirm that it will be send out shortly hopefully today or Monday."
