So... I forgot to update.
SSC replied on May 16th saying they were looking into the photos. They confirmed a replacement on the 17th stating it would take 7-10 bus days to ship and that I would have to destroy the old statue (wish I could ship it back... I'm in CA).
My buddy sent a follow up e-mail yesterday (30th) requesting an update with no response. My friend e-mailed me this morning ticked that nothing has happened. He decided to do a live chat.
He's never dealt with Sideshow before and his words, "It's been 2 weeks. literally 2 weeks of you having broken [stuff]. That's not acceptable..."
Is this the normal pace for replacements?
EDIT: SSC Live Chat Response:
"We had a slight delay in the arrival in the replacement parts being sent out to you. I can confirm that it will be send out shortly hopefully today or Monday."
Yes. It's not unheard of for Sideshow to run out of replacements.
