Having seen both in real life, and owning the maquette, I feel like one of them is either undersized or the other is oversized. I think the maquette might be a little undersized? Especially since how the hot toys hulk really towers over the rest of the avengers? (as he should)

^yeah, hulk maquette is probably a tad undersized...if he would have been about 3-4 inches taller he would have been perfect...

Guys you might be right about the Maquette. Pictures you know are a little deceiving. The Maguette is really massive but he may be a little undersized. It would be interesting to know if the Maquette is really 1/4 scale. I think the HT Hulk is close to 1/6. You have the other figures to compare it to ( some more pics)View attachment 66904View attachment 66905

Pretty sure he's undersized, the original hulk premium format was not supposed to be exactly 1/4 scale. (I think I've read in the original forum thread where the artist had to scale it down a bit)
And when comparing the original hulk pf and this one, this feels smaller. So I'd put him definitely around 1/5th scale. After seeing him with the rest of the avengers, he doesn't feel as big or as intimidating as he should be. Unlike the hot toys version, you could see he's massive compared to the rest and supposed to be the giant that he is.

Also to add, I've a few 1/4th scale and 1/6th scale figures/statues, generally the 1/6th scale come up to around the waist area or slightly slight higher, from the pics above, Hulk is already above the waist area and that's with the maquette already standing on a base.

The Hulk Comiquette was 1/5 scale. This one may be somewhere in between. I think as far as bulk goes this one and the PF seem the same. The PF had much bigger hands and feet..... and we all know what that means..... :lol

I think the scale works fine with other 1:4...

Hot Toys is too big, Sideshow is too small.
But Hot Toys is way too big...

lol yeah, I've always felt that sideshow's was a little too small, hot toys was overly big. Wish they could have been more consistent with the scale. Its always nice to get a bigger piece (i.e. hot toys) but I'd much rather have them in scale as opposed to something bigger.

Was at fellow freaks house this weekend and saw the Hulk Maquette in his collection just staring at me. Its such an awesome piece and a great size too. After seeing my reaction towards it, he said that i should think about getting about buying it...i told him i already have it! I just dont get to see it very often cos its packed away in its shipping box! :slap :lol Man i need to get a house soon! :(
