By the way, I agree 100%. The nice thing is that there is a version for each of us. Those that like the PF have it. Those that don't, they have the Com or the Maquette to choose from.

I'm with you guys on this one. Not a huge fan of the first one. Had I been collecting when it retailed, I would have bought it. The new one however is much more to my liking and is a must buy for me.

You say you don't like the PF but would have bought one at retail if you were collecting at the time. It's posts like this that feed fuel to the PF lovers. Basically, their point is you really do like the PF and it's the best Hulk statue on the market but you don't want to buy it at aftermarket prices so you hate on the piece.

I was collecting at the time it was released and still passed on it because I didn't like it. If I could get one tomorrow at retail it still wouldn't be displayed in my collection.

Saying you don't like the piece but would buy it at retail sends a mixed message. If the maquette retails for almost a grand, people that love the PF would be better off dropping a few extra dollars for it. I know where my money will be going.

I disagree. I'm saying I'm not crazy enough about it to pay 1k for it now. I like it enough to buy it for $300 if given the chance. I think I would not pay 1k for any of the statues I currently own either. I'm not sure I will every like any statue enough to pay that kind of money. I still enjoy collecting and at the retail prices I am more than happy to dish out the dough. But for the new PF, I am willing to pay more because I like it better than the old PF. That being said, I'm not buying this if its 1k.

You won't be the only one passing at 1k. If that's the price, I'll probably just wait for a 1/4 fully sculpted Hulk. Sooner or later, SSC will get around to it.

it took them 6 years to release a second 1/4 scale hulk, i am not waiting another 6 years to complete my avenger setup.

this hulk is a must not matter what price, even if it's $2k. I will not be happy but must get....

but lets hope for something reasonable like $500 considering it's one of the easiest statue to make...

If it's in the $700 range, I'm in. If it's more than that, I'm out. I'm not supporting 1/4 statues that retail at 1k. No matter who the character is. I'm a patient man. I'll wait for a fully sculpted comic based 1/4 PF.

If you want this no matter the cost...more power to you. I'll pass.

LOL! I love the Venom Com. However, I don't have a problem with anyone not liking it. It just seems that if someone really likes a statue, they take it personally if you don't agree with them.

With the amount of Hulk merch SSC has and will put out, it's impossible to avoid conversations about the PF. It'll always come up sooner or later.

That's the plan right now. I usually pass on the Wizard Con and go to C2E2. I like it more than Wizard World. However, Stan Lee will be there this time around so I should be going. I pretty sure I'll be attending over the weekend. How about you?

It's Hulk.. so only pants no real clothing,no weapons,it's an easy one for SS.They are watching us..know that we all want to buy one..and are getting ideas on how much we are willing to pay.
