OK, in my "Raiders" excitement, I thought I'd share this...

Here's what I have waiting in my kitchen for INDIANA JONES...

we'll be doing a sculpted hat, but probably not how you imagine. I'm honestly shocked you guys got a peek at this so early on in the process of its development. LUCKY! :D

Trev

So glad to hear that you're doing the sculpt, Trev!

I guess we should be able to preorder the figure at next year's SDCC. :D

Hey Trev, I'm really glad you got to do this sculpt. I was just curious, how long does Sideshow give you to do a sculpt? It sounds like you don't get much time to reflect on it and make any necessary changes.

Awesome Belloq, Nazi, and Toht there...Wor-Gar! I really like them! Hopefully Sideshow will make those guys in their new Indy 1/6 scale line. :D

Each project is different, to be sure, but a portrait should normally be knocked out in a week. (some guys are MUCH faster) Someone like Harrison Ford takes a few extra days, though. (I actually had to redo this one because my initial attempt was just slightly too small....luckily I caught it before it left my studio) it's true that with personal projects, one can study and continue work for an indefinite period of time until it 'feels' completely right. with this work...you do have to settle at some point, and just take it in stride and accept it.

I'm ready to get going on revisions! :D:D Jones deserves it!!!

Greg-great figures!!!

Batty-yea! Sideshow opened up a whole can of worms by showing this one early! :D you guys'll get a REAL sense of how long it takes for a product to become reality. it's amazing to see how much hard work goes into this stuff

WOW! Thanks guys!

Not sure these old figures compete with Pjam's Terminator collection though... but hell, I'll take the compliment. Thanks!

And yeah, I wouldn't mind "upgrading" these guys with a round of 1/6th versions of Belloq, Dietrich and Toht from Sideshow and Trev!

Hey Trev, I really appreciate you taking the time to participate in these forums. I wish other Sideshow artists would choose to as well. Speaking of how long Indiana Jones will take, I think it would be really cool if Sideshow could show us some behind the scenes on a project, along with all the issues of making something that will be mass produced overseas.

Nothing to be nervous about Trev, you did a great job bro!

WOW That is dead on Raiders Indy! Just hope as much attention is being paid to the outfit. If you guys need it Trev the guys at the ClubObiWan forum of IndyGear would be more than happy to get all the details of the Indy garb for ya.

Now this I will say is terrific work. This is going to be one kick butt figure! :monkey5

Holy smoke! MARION! My brother let me know about this news, as he was at the paramount panel. I'm thrilled! this film could rock very thoroughly

and I gotta say...I was terrified when the Indy portrait submission was shown. :D

Trev

Great work as always.

:clap:clap:clap:clap

Even from that unpainted sculpt,it is a great likeness of Mr.Ford.Hey Trev-good luck with the sculpt.I look forward to seeing it with the scar and stubble. One of my Grails has been achieved!

Yeah! Holy crap Trev! That is one hell of a likeness!
And he does look ready for Club Obi-Wan too!

As for the movie, all I can think of is...THANK GOD MARION'S IN IT!
I am in anticipatory heaven now! I literally got teary eyed watching G4's comverage of the Con, and seeing that footage of the Indy gang, then Marion shows up, beautiful as ever! I can't wait to see her figure(s)! Better do several SS!

And Worgar's kitchen has never been so cool! I wanna go there and see all your figures! That Belloq rules!

Trev that sculpt looks GREAT! I think that we will finally have a definitive Indiana Jones figure come our way. I know that there have been alot of amazing customs out there but this one should be great. This is the one I've been waiting for for a long time! I could never afford the Toys McCoy , but I think this one could top it. I hope that we can somehow get a real leather jacket without breaking the bank.

I think it's so cool that you post here and give us little tidbits about your sculpts. Thank you so much for doing that , it just adds a little extra to the figure when we finally receive it. I can't believe that you get about a week to knock a sculpt out! I tried my hand at it and would need about a year! Lol!

Trev, next time your in town, beers are on me!
