The Indy Acquisitions ("Look What I Found") Thread

I picked up some of the Indy basic figures today...

These are pretty good for basic figures...nice articulation, accessories (even a working holster on the Indy figure!).

Haven't seen any of the deluxe figures (like the ark) here yet...the only 12" one on the shelf was the "Mutt" one...hope he enjoys warming shelves this summer...

May pick up some more of these basic figures later...

Mutt may not warm the shelves too badly if lots of kids see the movie and dig the character. LeBouf is actually pretty popular not only with teens but young 'uns thanks to TRANSFORMERS. It's also the 2nd best figure in the 12" line so far, likeness-wise.

Good point Irish...and he actually looked pretty sharp in that longer trailer on the front of "Iron Man" when I saw it today...can't wait. the trailer looked great.

A couple of dio shots with Indy. I replaced the belt with that of my broken Map Room Indy. I like the scale of the holster better.

I'd like to replace the holster on my Indy as well... I noticed in the store not all of them had the same huge f'n thing

Probably wait till they're being cleared-out and get one on the cheap.

Indy with the Horse is now the ONLY current Hasbro item I'm looking for. Found the Ark and German Soldiers today.

I got the Indy with the horse yesterday at one of my local Wal-Marts. They only had one other Indy with the horse set. I could try to get one for you down here, if you like Irish. I would just need you to send the money to me first. I live in a smaller city near New Orleans where sometimes I can get the rare toys that are really hard to find in the big cities. Send me a PM and let me know if you want to let me try to get the Indy/Horse set for you down here.

BTW - The Indy/Horse set is the first thing I have from these new Indy toys. I'd love to eventually get all of the 12", and some of the small figures too.

Around here the KOTCS figures seem to be the more popular of the two waves. I have yet to see Spalko, Dovchenko and the Russian soldier. I saw the Ugha Warrior and Cemetery Warrior for the first time over the weekend. Everything else appears to be attainable if you hunt hard enough.

In Dallas area, Walmarts have put out the Indy stuff and some Targets did. Target by work put a little out, and the one by my house has yet to put anything out.

I pretty much just need the German two pack and a well paint Indy with idol....waiting on Wave 3!

Wave 3 is shown as coming soon at the Hasbro shop....

Hasbro Shop also has "coming soon" for the TOD Adventure Heroes: Indy/Willie Scott; Short Round (with Indy voodoo doll ) and Temple Thug; and Mola Ram and Temple Priest. I hadn't seen these yet.

And Hasbro is also indicating estimated shipping date of the Mighty Muggs as 7/17.

Well, I've seen everything except Spalko, Indy w/ the Horse, and the truck. But so far I'm really happy with the line. Picked up the Last Crusade motorbike today and the details are really nice, I was really more impressed by that set than most of the others I got.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on get the German Soldier on the bike but now I am.

I now only need to find that and Indy on the horse and I'm good until the Mighty Muggs and LAST CRUSADE wave.

An interesting note about the bike is there's a hole on the covering of the back wheel, just above the muffler. Looks to be designed for an additional connecting piece which means a motorbike and sidecar can't be too far off.

i picked up the troop truck today and it is awesome. prolly my favorite thing from the line so far. holds lots of troops (and the ark) with plenty of room for indy to beat the crap out of all of them.

I found something tonight that I didn't even know was out: The LIFE board game, Indiana Jones Edition... exclusive to Target. $19.99. I grabbed one and will snap a quick pic.
