Anyone have the "Making of" book or Rollins novel, yet? I'm going to head out later and purchase them along with the score, of course.

I got those along with the soundtrack from Amazon on Saturday (all are officially out today). I love Amazon's prices:

Making of... $23.10
Novel.... $17.30
Soundtrack.... $9.99

+ FREE shipping! :rock

I also received the graphic novel (from a separate order)

I'm not opening ANY of them until Thursday, though.

Awesome. I bought the soundtrack and novel, today. Paid $12.99 for score and $16.10 for novel at Sam's Club. Can't find a good price on "Making of." Every store is selling them at full price of $35. :( May need to go to Amazon!

Haven't touched the novel, but HAD to listen to the score. I could barely control myself upon listening to Track #6.

I acquired a new piece of INDY artwork today. This time an uber-cool RAIDERS "circus" poster that mimics the one Struzan did for SW:

This is not a licensed item, though. I was able to get a copy directly from the artist, who I know through my IndyFan days. Still... I think it's brilliant. :rock

Got the Novel today and I do have an auto version coming from Indy Shop plus some magazines that had Indy on it. I also bought the Indy Potato head guy.

That is awesome...
...except Henry Sr. seems very out of place with all the Raiders imagery. Maybe Marcus Brody would have been a better choice since Denholm Elliott is listed in the billing.

Picked up the Scholastic junior novel of KOTCS today...they make quick reads and this one has the nice distinction of being written by SW Lit vet James Lucerno (Cloak of Deception, Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader..and the text for "The Complete Guide to Indiana Jones" DK book that just came out). No spoilers here except to say...I really like it a lot.

I'll save the full hardcover version for my plane ride this weekend...

Also picked up the score...the new recording of the "Raiders" march gave me goosebumps...wonderful. Is it midnight yet? :)

Got the Wal-Mart Monopoly set today. It's the only item other than the PF that has interested me.

An interesting pair of choices. :lol

I finally broke down and bought the "whipping" 12" Indy. He's actually fairly nice for $20. As usual, the action feature actually makes the figure worse than if it it didn't exist, but at least it doesn't ruin the appearance of the figure like Talking Indy's talking feature does.

This is slick. If you don't mind what did you pay?

I found the actual INDIANA JONES cereal today for the frist time (not Indy on other cereral boxes... this is the special limited edition Indy cereal with the Crystal Skull marshmallows and such).

Bought Spalko last night. And the Indiana Jones Handbook: The Complete Adventurer's Guide, which is a quirky book on survival skills, like what to do when you find out you've been poisoned or how to cut a rope bridge. It also has fun illustrations, like how to properly crack a whip and how to escape if you've been accidentally entombed. It's a fun read.

Sorry, I realize now that I didn't make that clear. I have 5 or 6 of the stickers from the 3.75" figures that I'd like to trade for the ones from the 12" ones.
