Hey Chris,

Do you operate from the US? Just trying to figure out how much I should send you.

Thanks,
Andy

Thanks Chris! Money sent - I'm stoked! :chew

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

Put me down for all 3 of the Lone Gunmen. Thanks.

(This is Blacklegion from da Haven, by the way.)

Also, will these work with Sideshow bodies or will I need to look around for something else?

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

Also, for future sculpts, I'd like to cast a vote for Adam Baldwin (Knowle Rohrer). I'm pretty sure we could get some Angel and Firefly fans to chip in for that too. And would Jeffrey Spender be his deformed face from Season 9?

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

There are so many characters that I'd like to see get done, but at the top of the list is Monica Reyes. Even though we didn't get to see all that much of her, she's still a main character and was pretty great too. So she deserves to get done. I'd love to see Marita Covarrubias and the Well Manicured Man eventually too. Maybe even Samantha Mulder - that would be pretty cool if she was done as child like when she was abducted. X is also a must and Deep Throat - maybe even Kersh. Can anyone think of any other characters they'd like to see?

Thanks ebayarea for organizing this/Chris for sculpting. These will go great with my Sideshow CSM, Doggett, Mulder and Frank Black.

:welcome to the group abadguy and Dashopkinsfan! We're glad to have you aboard!

For all those who made such a quick payment to Chris for the Lone Gunmen, you rock!:rock2:rock2

Spread the word about Skinner, Mulder and Scully! We're definitely going to break 15 (and beyond) for all three, but I want to get as many people the discount as possible. Just imagine how awesome these guys will be next to the Lone Gunmen!:chew

Does anyone have a good answer for Dashopiknsfan's question about the sideshow neck compatibility? I'm a novice when it comes to customizing, I just open up the package and display

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

Thanks for the warm welcome ebayarea! I'm glad I stumbled over this thread! I am an absolute novice as far as custom figures go - like you, I'm used to just opening the box and displaying them - maybe futzing with the clothes a bit! So I'm pretty excited about this project! I had a quick question - what do you all think is the best business suit for the Sideshow bodies? I picked up a Saturday toys suit (I think) for my Mulder figure but it fits oddly - like the arms of the jacket are too short, but there is a ton of room in in the back and at the sides - looks strange. So I was thinking of picking up another set - also because I'll have to get one for Byers, so I wanted to hear what you guys thought... any suggestions?

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

I asked Chris if the neck would fit a Sideshow body. He said he would just drill it out a bit, then I'd have to just glue it on so the head will stay in place.

Did anyone mention Kersh yet?

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

What the heck, I just got Christmas $$$. Can I get on the list for Skinner too?

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

Yep - I said Kersh a page or so ago - I'd love to get a Gibson figure too - are there small bodies for kids in the 1/6 scale?

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

abadguy, with you on the Skinner list we're really close to 15:chew xmas cash rocks :rock2

Kersh is now on the suggested character list. I really can't wait to add Skinner to my collection.

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

Not to hijack this thread, but...

...as with real people, the suit needs to be made for the body that will wear it. Much like the head must fit the body, the suit should be matched.

Some figures have extremely long arms, such as Capt Action. Others, like Ken, have extremely short arms.

Most fall in between, but are either made more doll-like (short) or action figure-like (long). The Blues Brothers 2000 figures and Presidential figures tend to be more doll-like but are a source of numerous suits.

It is best to buy a suit made by the same company that made the body as they tend to have the best match. This does tend to limit your options, but that is usually the choice: character bodytype fit or clothes fit.

Luckily, most companies have produced suits at some time or other. A little searching can give you a pretty good selection.

Yay, I can finally pay for the Gunmen now. It took a while for the money to get sent to my paypal account.

Hi, any progress pics yet?

Re: The Lone Gunmen, Skinner and M&S X-files Headsculpts set by C.Howes Interest Thre

Now I'm having visions of sculpts for General Santiago, Pinnochio, and Hobbes from Harsh Realm...but my wallet would probably kick my butt.
