Not to hijack this thread, but...
...as with real people, the suit needs to be made for the body that will wear it. Much like the head must fit the body, the suit should be matched.
Some figures have extremely long arms, such as Capt Action. Others, like Ken, have extremely short arms.
Most fall in between, but are either made more doll-like (short) or action figure-like (long). The Blues Brothers 2000 figures and Presidential figures tend to be more doll-like but are a source of numerous suits.
It is best to buy a suit made by the same company that made the body as they tend to have the best match. This does tend to limit your options, but that is usually the choice: character bodytype fit or clothes fit.
Luckily, most companies have produced suits at some time or other. A little searching can give you a pretty good selection.
