In a weird way I kinda thought I did. But I'm a huge nerd who loves complex world-building. As we all know it didn't really work, but I see where Lucas was trying to go, and I also see that it was too late for him in that there was no one left to tell him "no".

Editing yourself is hard. I imagine it's much more difficult when you're the head of a billion-dollar empire.

The biggest crime of the prequels was not making Maul a three-film villain. If I had the power to change ONE thing, it would be that. That doesn't mean you can't have Dooku or Grievous in there, but Maul being the main antagonist gives Obi-Wan motivation as a character, it gives coherence to the story, and it fleshes out a character that sorely needed it (cinematically).

ANH has several Frank Herbert influences that are often overlooked these days; but Dune is a complex, intellectual and philosophical work ? you can only inject so much of that into Star Wars.

As for the Mandalorian, I have my issues with it but the above isn?t one of them. This isn?t Game Of Thrones or Breaking Bad.

I'm in for both versions of Mando if HT double dips with a deluxe version in the future, LOVE this show and the character!

Me personally I like the idea of this show being basically a different Mando adventure. New characters each episode, new location, with Mando doing his bounty hunting job while protecting the kid.

I like Richard. He’s funny but he really didn’t work for me in that role.

Also Clancys character seemed too indestructible to me.

I agree. He was great in The IT Crowd, but there seemed something immediately off with the droid's voice. He sounded familiar but I couldn't place him until I watched the end title sequence on the second viewing.

Also Clancys character seemed too indestructible to me.

I didn't expect him to survive the door gag. But it gave him a headache.


I think the flames were an Easter egg reference to the Devaronian in the 1977 cantina - they used a Halloween devil mask, and a devil would likely be impervious to fire.

Oh, they're going to. Don't worry.

Its going to have Little Bit and his cradle, 18 hands to swap out, a zillion weapons, a flamethrower "flame" attachment for those especially heated moments, a brick of actual Beskar and 150 Imperial credits included.

It'll cost $500 USD and I am dreading it already, because I am going to be *Forced* to buy it. [see what I did there?...?] this hobby is a cruel mistress.

Yep. Yesterday was debating over a Mando T and will hit Target today and see if there's any Hasbro toys - I mean overpriced ecologically incorrect carefully crafted 6 inch figs. Since Disney *&^% up and u gotta wait to get the Child

(And I need a pair of Beskar bookends in *genuine Damascus steel* and a full size Mythosaur skull. Waiting for the floating cradle small pet bed - bet u could use Roomba tech or epoxy to a Roomba and get it to float. Kinda. )

So dunno if it thrills anyone but Wed. there'll be an TROS sneak peek with Mando #7.

The anticipation couldn?t be higher because of this so any and all sneak peeks will no doubt be much appreciated by fans keen to see the movie. (Collider)

I don't watch more than the second trailer with ANY movie, because they always use up all the cool scenes and dialog with 50 different trailers and it just takes away from the movie experience, in my opinion.

Mando ain't got time for that. He's one jump ahead of about 50 other hunters - I have no idea how large the Guild is supposed to be - critically short of cash and his ride has some problems. I bet he would WISH he had time for some sleuthing. People have all these crazy expectations and one product can't possibly meet all of them, which is a problem with SW movies in particular. The entire internet needs to repeat to themselves, its just a show, I should really just RELAX. [Not that Mando is MST3K material, not at all]

p.s. My stating the above just got me kicked out of a FB Mandalorian group, I think, either that or the group got disbanded, not sure which and not really concerned, lol

i had to look up the Boba fandom 'coz I didnt get it, but if I got it - he's not a true Mandalorian? Takes his helmet off etc? so IMO that could be an interesting clash. Or what if at the end the de-age Hamill and Mando finally gets baby to the Skywalkers? The timeline would work. Luke could be the one that sees baby home. IMO fans would lose their %$#* Even if right now Outer Rim folks seem to not pay much attention to the high up New Republic. Tho I'd be good with the Child being just being returned to his people.

Yeah read something that said Favreau is being coy about baby for season 2. But c'mon it's such a great dynamic and think fans would riot if Baby isn't around.

People are discussing side theories because that is how good this figure is, he's just about perfect for his scale and just about everyone who sees it, loves it and wants one. Its all but unanimous!

We're all just sitting around killing time till it drops. When Beskar Mando goes up we will all complain about the price, and then we'll PO that too.

And YEAH, HEY SSC since we talking about Mandalorians how about making with the SSC Mythos Fett figure already?! THANK YOOOOUUUUU <3
