Shouldn't we expect a beskar armor version announcement soon? I have been holding off waiting to order, but prefer the beskar.

Well, the season ends next week so yea, I expect a Beskar version soon, hopefully it will include all the weapons that were shown in the show.

I am wondering if the reason might be that the next figure will include an unmasked head, and they don't want to spoil that yet.

I'm really of two minds here - I could easily see his keeping the helmet on for the entire series. Yet its not like HT to hold back on editions, there has got to be a reason.

As much as I like the mystery it adds to the character on the show, I still would love to see a Mandalorian figure with a Pedro headsculpt, just to have another display option. And also because we know that he does take the helmet off occasionally, even if we never see it onscreen.

That?s what I think too. They know it?ll possibly hurt the sales for the first version. Beskar will probably go up for PO right around when season 2 airs. I hope I?m wrong but we?ll see.

People are discussing side theories because that is how good this figure is, he's just about perfect for his scale and just about everyone who sees it, loves it and wants one. Its all but unanimous!

We're all just sitting around killing time till it drops. When Beskar Mando goes up we will all complain about the price, and then we'll PO that too.

The more I watch series the more I like this costume - so GOT TO have both. Am I seeing wrong or does beskar have the one leg armor (cuisse?) as the original? Haven't studied it yet. Guess there's no reason to replace or some beskar was "saved for foundlings".

Yep. Tho I think it's early yet. I could see him becoming leader of the Mandos and being able to take off helmet. Did some reading and long history with different factions etc. Not sure where series will go

Keeping baby hidden was a d*mn miracle. I wonder if HT will do a set. KO's and handmade all over, but am gonna wait on official products. Which BTW is not a comment on hand done quality, which can be better than HT. Just hoping for some kind of floaty cradle thing in 1/6. Guess it will be like HTs usual clear holography stuff in resin, maybe.

I must have both. Sucker for first appearances.
And will get the beskar too - It looks so damn cool. And yes, the right leg armor was not replaced with beskar, still looks exactly as first seen.

If anything, Boba Fett looks are very similar in both movies, so are Vader's, or even stormtroopers, yet people say they 'must' have them, so why not have both versions of the Mandalorian, they are so different.

HT is probably working overtime to get one out (like every other company). Disney kept him a secret from everyone until the show aired so HT has to make a prototype and get it approved before showing it. I would think they would make a 1/6 and a 1/1 so it could be a little bit (or tomorrow).

I never thought about HT making a 1:1 but damn you are probably right. They made baby Groot so why not this? As for 1/6 the only question is whether he is a deluxe edition version or his own character with a two or three expression sculpts and switch out arms.

I don't think putting beskar version on preorder impact v1 sales. Most of us believe (though not certain) there will be a beskar version already. And with new tease in stormie proto photos, it almost became certain. If anyone will consider passing on v1 for the sake of beskar version, he has enough evidents to eait for it.

They have that information now, but not when the preorders originally went up. Not every place is easy to cancel an NRD and I think in HK you can't cancel at all from what it sounds like.

Yeah, I'm not happy waiting to PO v1 - but hanging on 'coz I wanna use RPs that haven't posted yet. Stuff adds up fast if u want IG and heavy armor Mando too.

Will order both and the Heavy armor because so far I think they are all great variant. We have many Boba and Jango variants so that sounds good to me.
