I would also add that desperate accusations such as these are just a tired and lazy excuse to defend the incompetent and/or an agenda.

Deborah Chow did two of the three best episodes of The Mandalorian and I couldn't be more excited to see more of her stuff. Very interested to see what she does with the Kenobi show now.

Who cares if it's a woman or a man - the important thing is that they DO A GOOD JOB!

As for writing and directing, if a director gets stuck with a written episode that sucks (like defending the frontier town from an AT-ST, though the Child was great in that), what can a director do? Their job isn't to write, it's to direct. So any boring episodes or bad lines are from the writers, right? Or at least there's only so much you can do with a bad script.

I liked Episode 4 - since I kinda view all 8 episodes as sort of a long movie. IMO most good movies have a balance of action/quiet moments. IMO it was a good "quiet moment" kinda like seeing Episode 8 scenes (where IG evolves).

For me there was some cool stuff too like the krill-fishing droid, the aesthetics and that frog scene with baby was just too charming:bunnydanc. Also it was nice seeing Mando as just a good man. Plus, of course, the intro of gawdess Cara Dune. And the AT-ST and LOL Mando and Cara essentially blew up a couple of stills.

Prob. my least favorite would be Episode 5 - because, IMO, not that much happens really. Also JC doesn't really settle into part until end. Tho still enjoy the mechanic and droids, plus more nice aesthetics. I need to watch again tho in high res. I think, just because the edge of the cloak of the booted figure seemed kinda ragged, it may actually be the wished-for Boba. 'Coz IMO Moff wouldn't wear ragged stuff.

Tho don't have a vested interest in Boba showing up, or not. But other people do.

Awww, that baby is so cute - all Jedi should be so lucky to die at the hands of such evil cuteness!

Have we not yet done a rate the Episode posting?

Weird, we love that crap....

Overall the series sit just at an 8/10 for me. The following os just a rating for each episode, not comparing them to anything else but one another.

The Mandalorian: 8/10
The Child: 7/10
The Sin 9/10
Sanctuary 5/10
The Gunslinger 6/10
The Prisoner 7/10
The Reckoning 8/10
Redemption: 9/10

Those creatures they rode around on that are from the second Ewok adventure are kind of cool.

Don't even usually collect Funko tho had to have the first Mando. But I gotta have the next Mando and Mando on Blurrg and Jawa, minimally.
*&^%# might as well clear some space:cool:

I’ll be buying all that since Hasbro has abandoned 3.75” figures and their Black Series stuff isn’t all that good. Plus, I doubt HT goes that far.

Hopefully HT comes out with Baby Yoda, Beskar Mando, Incinerator Trooper, Gideon, Kuiil, Cara...

I can't remember much about episodes 1-2 but I remember liking them... but I loved 3... and I really liked 8. 4-6 were forgettable mostly, or at least I have forgotten them. 7 was an good lead-in to 8 but a little long-winded.
