According to Grace, there's some kind of behind the scenes drama g, and that's the real reason season 2 will shift focus on other characters instead of the Mandalorian halfway through the season. She twitted about it a week before the Entertainment Weekly article. Something bad happened on the set.

At the moment think Grace is full of it. She teeeted about some ominous problem and then next day Disney sets the October 30 release date. We all knew there'd be more about Moff; Mando and Baby are off searching - it's just common sense to follow what characters are doing and then bring together again. Filoni did it in Clone Wars and Rebels. Especially since Cara stayed with Greef and Moff Gideon might target them.

Also actual filming was done by February so why wait so long to say anything? Must be slow in Graceland.

It will be so great to have some good Star Wars content back on our screens in a few weeks. Feels like we?ve only had about 8 hours of great Star Wars content between (Mando and TCW) over the last 3 years.

Is it true that mando is only in half of the episodes cause the actor walked off after getting into a fight with a producer???? There are some disturbing rumors out there, supposedly the issue is resolved and he is back for season 3 but i hope its all bs, cause what is a mando show without the mandolorian lol. But Its possible they are true because they seem to be pushing Ahsoka alot. So the 2nd half will be the baby yoda ahsoka show???

Well supposedly Pascal wasn't in the episode with the Scout Walker at all and just did the voice dubbing due to scheduling conflicts so there's already a precedent for him not being on set. Not sure why they couldn't do the same if he had some sort of falling out; just put another guy in the suit and then record Pascal reading 10-12 lines. Easy peasy. No need to write his character out of the story (unless of course he refused to even read lines in a sound booth which would be weird.)

Only partially accurate.

The story goes that KK got very upset that Tom Cruise Hollywood contract got amended that it now allows him to eat 4 live babies a month during a movie production where as KK is only allowed to eat 2 live babies per month.

So she threw a tantrum and ordered Pascal to go find her a baby out of contract and he walked for an entire week saying he would not tolerate any behavior which was not part of his union contract.

But it is true that they have since made up after KK apologized to him for hurting his feelings.

Far as I can tell it's all BS; if rumors were credible every online news/fansite would be repeating story. News media seems to be so Mandalorian show hungry the tiniest thing gets written up since we have no trailer to discuss.[SUP][/SUP]

For sure think any set is gonna have some tense moments, but don't think it's something like "Pascal got into it with KK and walked off set" - which seems to be what some of the rumors are hoping for. Another thing - Season 1 could practically do no wrong in the media. Always seems like someone has to stir up something if things are going well, because that's more interesting. Srsly Pascal strikes me as an easy-going guy with a sense of humor; he's not new in the game; hard to believe he'd have a meltdown.

WTF - still no trailer? This comes out end of next month.

Guessing Disney wanted to hype Mulan and that extra $30 fee. Lots of Mulan commercials.

Well Favreau said he likes the GOT method - separatestories going on that intersect. And really, how else can you deal with Greef and Cara being in one place, Moff in another, and Mando and Baby someplace else? They could all get together late in the season "for the sake of the plot" -

which is always a popular, if lame way to deal with writer's block, but I'd rather have something that builds from point A to B.

As opposed to Cara, say, kicked back with some spotchka, suddenly hearing voices and then shows up to bust Din D'jarin out of prison or something, because "she had a FEELING he was in trouble" Favreau and Filoni are better than that.

Just hope they end up on Tatooine again; wouldn't mind seeing the Mechanic "oh, it's u again. I'm gonna charge u extra if ur gonna leave any more bodies around for disposal".

Plus like one writer pointed out, this is the first time in all film SW that the Sandpeople were depicted as something more than just one of the dangers of Tattooine, but a culture in its own right that could be negotiated with. Not just savages.
