With regard to watching a trailer, meh, bring it on. I decided that EG and TROS were going to be my last "avoid spoilers at all costs" experiences. Watching those films cold was epic but I'm not not gonna stress about catching glimpses or previews of anything from here on out.

This is the way.

No I really mean it that needs to be the way I deal with trailers from now on.

WB I am ready to see Cavill return as Superman revealed in the WW trailer 3 as he blocks an attack from Cheetah the white peoples answer to Black Panther bring it on baby!

I usually only watch a trailer once or twice and never dissect them. I barely remember the Mandalorian season one trailer other than thinking "Damn, this looks great."

The only trailers I avoid completely are Tarantino films, for two reasons. One, I want to be completely surprised by everything I see on screen. And two, the trailers for Inglourious Basterds were so intentionally misleading, it made me dislike the movie. We were promised a crazy adventure with Brad Pitt and his crack team of Jewish commandos exacting revenge on the Nattzees, and instead we got about two hours of an angry chick speaking French. Pitt and the Basterds were in about 20 minutes of a 2 and a half hour movie. I want my money back.

To be fair though, I haven't even rewatched the whole thing since I saw it opening night. I'm gonna give it another chance now that I have the bluray. Still pissed me off though. I wanted more of the Bear Jew and Hugo Stiglitz. If there was ever a Tarantino movie that deserved a prequel, that was it. Just the Basterds kicking ass, like they showed in the trailers.

Anyway...rant over. Back to Mando now.

Still no trailer not even a teaser is this show going to be delayed or what.

Its now just under two months away.

I remember last november thinking holy crap S2 is far away and now here we are.

And am ready for a trailer. Even a 20 second teaser. Think Favreau is smart enough to not show too much. It'll probably just be a few shots of characters looking badass and *smouldering*. As much as any character can do that with a helmet.

Looks awesome!

So no more contained isolated stories they are pulling back the curtain to reveal the larger narrative at play.

According to Grace, there's some kind of behind the scenes drama g, and that's the real reason season 2 will shift focus on other characters instead of the Mandalorian halfway through the season. She twitted about it a week before the Entertainment Weekly article. Something bad happened on the set.
