THE SALAD MASTER STRIKES AGAIN!

I enjoyed seeing Mandos do what they do, those scenes were quite okay.

Who the hell takes a *baby* on a strafing fighter run, I ask you.

Perhaps if Himbo marries Bo, he will get permission to remain in what is ostensibly his own show. She is definitely the brains of the outfit.

Its SO WEIRD. The live action show is definitely Kidsville, and the cartoon is definitely I-Need-A-Valium time. Lucasfilm be cray.

It was cool to see the monkey lizards snitching lolz

I also liked the close-ups on droids.

It would have been nice if they managed to capture the big pirate ship to transport the Mandos back to their home planet.

That cameo was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Batch Bad ending today and Celebration on the horizon, and now this cameo makes me think the timing of everything was carefully planned out. I have to imagine the rest of this season and where Ahsoka goes will probably all play into the future of Star Wars.

This is absolutely the STUPIDEST plot point, at no time in the past have Mandos kept their helmets and clothes on at all times. Whoever thought this was a good basis for this show has a screw or two loose. EU Mandos would fall out of their flight suits laughing, at the mere idea.

Well everyone in the galaxy wears the same clothes all the time (varying only with the environment) so it's the logical next step...

I guess. I got into this show fascinated by the concept of a *religious* everyman, capable of violence, who wanders around a lot doing his job, having his world overturned and having to come to terms with that, and then what he becomes. Kind of the same I thought Finn's arc would be if that hadn't been so badly handled.
I like Bo-Katan just fine but it's like watching a Captain America movie that focused on Black Widow. This season feels Filoni'ed.

Episode had some pretty cool action I guess, but pirates again? Really? Not sure why the show is wasting its time with such cheesy villains that you know the Mandalorians will be able to wipe out in seconds. I'm really starting to agree with those saying the season feels directionless now after the epic events of S2.

And this episode also confirms in my mind that Mandos may be cool as hell on their own, but are super damn boring in a big group, and I'm really starting to wish Din and Bo would get the hell away from this covert and do anything else.

Can't deny how awesome it was to see that Rebels character though. It's kinda mindblowing to think we may be seeing them all in live action soon.

I wonder how many more Mando younglings will be accidentally eaten by the dragon babies before they are fully trained to ride into battle. Somehow in my mind it plays out like Grogu eating frog lady's eggs. Awwwww, silly burrdy's!! You ate another lil mando! Aww shucks! Oh well, better continue your mando training!!

Writing was really poor - especially Corusant - what a HUGE difference to Andor or even the 2 great Bad Batch episodes

But except for Salad Captain I really loved the design of the bad guys and the good guys (no Spoiler) and the battle was great too

A lot of this show can be summed up with writers saying, “wouldn’t it be cool if…” and then just going from there:lol
I keep citing weak and sloppy writing; in this case they could have gone with a hardcore warrior cult with unreasonably strict rules, but they didn't think it through.

I would have bought not showing your face to outsiders, I would have bought a highly codified and ritualistic society within the cult, but this is just goofy, impractical and would actually render them less efficient as warriors in various situations.

Maybe all the Mando scenes in BOBF should have been saved for this season of Mandalorian. I wonder if that was the plan , but then they changed their mind and said BOBF really needs some help?

I think the 2 eps in BOBF were part of the original mamdo season 3 before rewrites and reshoots. Hence the delay for season 3.

I think pirate captain Gloryhole Shaft's look was good in concept (plant monster/swamp thing bad guy groot) but the execution was comical and just unconvincing. The crew were also good in concept (bunch of aliens from the OT) but again the execution A: looked far too "low budget made for TV" and B: was far too pirates of the Caribbean (down to the way they talked) to take seriously.

Great ideas, poorly executed.

Weren’t there a lot more people living in Navarro in S2 ..that was such a small group in this episode

“ Retake Mandalore “ from what? The cave men?…Mandalore is an empty planet from what it looked liked ..there is no threat
