Well, IMDB does have him at 3 episodes, but they don't list the second season,
so they might not show him in episode 8, and bring him back in season 2, who knows...

I REALLY want a HT figure of Moff Gideon, coupled with some new regular Death Troopers, they're appear to not have pauldrons on this time.

I'm starting to think this is totally going to tie into TROS.

My prediction: The imperial remnant has orders to bring force users to Palpatine. We saw Palpatine leech off the force of Rey/Kylo in TROS, so that's where they're using the force users for, for the recovery of Palpatine

For the love of God, no. Please let this be seperate (and sacred) from the ST.

I mean, now that the movies are finished, they're totally going to use other series/novels/comics and maybe even movies to explain what happened, considering the ST didn't do a whole lot of explaining.

It's too much to hope for.

We've already had the Baby Yoda
force healing
connection to TROS.

However, I look upon as the ST as mis-told bits of the future story. It's so mis-told that it barely registers at all as part of the actual saga.

The full story, for me, will always comprise some of the old EU novels. The ST, as much as the PT, feel like stories narrated from the point of view of someone who didn't know the facts, and embellished quite a lot and felt the need to add more humour (e.g., Jar Jar).

The PT is a little closer in spirit, by way of Lucas' hand, whereas the ST plays much more like a wild flight of fancy that writes over the past and detracts from past glories. In effect it's a reboot.

I just hope The Mandalorian can continue its current direction unsullied. While I want more seasons I'm aware that the more there is, the more chance that it will go off the rails.

Since folks have obviously forgotten to post spoiler with tags,

Please change the title of the thread to (spoilers).

Carefully peeking into this thread - seein' TROS in a few hours and unspoiled yet - tho hints of grumblin' among the people here and there:monkey3 -

but yeah. I mean sure there are Easter Eggs and Mandalorian show probably wouldn't exist otherwise, but IMO it's like let Mando keep
its flavor:pray:. Episode 1 opens with cold and *grit*. It's like when TWS was an MCU game changer. Even the soundtrack.

Same for Mando. Also the soundtrack. Scenes of understated perfection like when Mando drops the knob into Baby's hand. Ye gawds don't ruin things.:horror:horror:horror There's REASONS why at moment is #1 show at moment.
